Wade<\/a> in September, noting he respects those who don\u2019t support the landmark case. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2021\/10\/29\/joe-biden-did-not-discuss-abortion-pope-francis-told-keep-receiving-communion\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">(RELATED: Biden Says He Did Not Discuss Abortion With The Pope, Was Told To \u2018Keep Receiving Communion\u2019)<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cI respect those who believe life begins at the moment of conception and all, I respect that. Don\u2019t agree, but I respect that. Not going to impose that on people,\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2021\/09\/03\/biden-abortion-life-conception\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Biden said<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Despite Biden\u2019s recent comments, he did <a href=\"https:\/\/www.npr.org\/2012\/10\/11\/162754053\/transcript-biden-ryan-vice-presidential-debate\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">say<\/a> during a 2012 vice presidential debate that he accepts \u201cmy church\u2019s position on abortion as a \u2014 what we call de fide (doctrine?). Life begins at conception. That\u2019s the church\u2019s judgment. I accept it in my personal life.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>During Tuesday\u2019s State of the Union speech, Biden <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2022\/03\/02\/roe-wade-under-attack-biden-state-of-the-union\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">called<\/a> for \u201cprotecting a woman\u2019s right to choose,\u201d and said Roe v. Wade is a constitutional right.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe constitutional right affirmed in Roe v. Wade \u2014 standing precedent for half a century \u2014 is under attack as never before. If we want to go forward \u2014 not backward \u2014 we must protect access to health care.
