I only take a test if I\u2019m sick,\u2019 he says.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFor the first time in American history you now have people having to produce paper to go in somewhere, to sit somewhere, to go to the State of the Union,\u201d Rubio said at last week\u2019s Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC). \u201cYou\u2019ve got to show them I\u2019m vaccinated, I took a test yesterday, they took my temperature, you know, all this stuff,\u201d he added. \u201cThis is, what\u2019s happening now in America, is what happens after 20 years of infusing this Marxist thought process into every aspect of our lives and now we\u2019ve come face-to-face with it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>Congressman Chip Roy (R-TX):<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Roy also confirmed on Monday that he would not be attending the State of the Union, saying that despite the repeal of the mask mandate on Capitol Hill, he did not feel that he should have to submit to a COVID-19 test to be allowed in.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019re still being forced to test, a fence is up, &#038; Americans can\u2019t visit the Capitol. Members of Congress should not be subject to COVID-19 tests and social distance when it is not necessary, and the entire nation has ended most, if not all, coronavirus restrictions,\u201d Rosendale told The Daily Caller, adding, \u201cThe Hollywood elite attended the Super Bowl free of COVID-19 restrictions, so why must we, sitting Members of Congress, adhere to the demands of Nancy Pelosi? Montanans knew well over a year ago that these restrictions are pointless, and it is far past time to return to normal. Hate to break it to you, Nancy, but no one is listening to you or Dr. Fauci anymore.\u201d<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Speaker Pelosi is politicizing the SOTU to further the Radical Left\u2019s COVID-19 agenda. <\/p>\n<p>Members of Congress should not be subject to COVID-19 restrictions when the rest of the country has ended most mandates. <\/p>\n<p>No one is listening to you anymore, Nancy. <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/3HI6yIkM9B\">https:\/\/t.co\/3HI6yIkM9B<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Matt Rosendale (@RepRosendale) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/RepRosendale\/status\/1498736107957198863?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">March 1, 2022<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><strong>Congressman Andrew Clyde (R-GA):<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Clyde commented on the \u201cconvenient\u201d timing of the mask mandate repeal and said that continued testing requirements had inspired his choice to skip the president\u2019s remarks as well. \u201cI refuse to participate in Democrats\u2019 political pandemic theater, which is why I will not attend Biden\u2019s State of the Union address tonight,\u201d he <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Rep_Clyde\/status\/1498710870364504064\">tweeted<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Congressman Bob Good (R-VA):<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Good told The Daily Caller that he would not take a COVID-19 test just to listen to a speech, confirming that he would not attend.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, Senator Rick Scott (R-FL) said he was <a href=\"https:\/\/floridapolitics.com\/archives\/501565-rick-scott-wont-commit-to-attending-joe-bidens-state-of-the-union\/\">still on the fence<\/a> about attending on Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNothing good is going to happen,\u201d Scott told Panama City\u2019s News Talk 101, adding, \u201cI don\u2019t want to feel so obligated to stand up and say, \u2018That\u2019s a lie.\u2019 Because that\u2019s what you feel like \u2014 what you feel like when you\u2019re listening \u2014 is like \u2018that\u2019s not true\u2019 and \u2018that\u2019s not true\u2019 and \u2018that\u2019s not true.\u2019 And so, why do it?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Scott <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/SenRickScott\/status\/1498703088823279616\">offered his own assessment<\/a> of the current \u201cstate of the union\u201d via Twitter, saying that the United States under President Biden was \u201cin disrepair.\u201d<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">The state of our union is in disrepair.
