The Republican address will follow Biden\u2019s address next Tuesday, March 1.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cWhile Washington Democrats fail working Americans, Republican governors are fighting and winning for families,\u201d McConnell said in the statement. \u201cGovernor Kim Reynolds\u2019 brave, bold, and successful leadership for Iowans has put her right at the front of that pack. She fought COVID without forgetting common sense and protected Iowans\u2019 health and their rights at the same time. She\u2019s defended kids and parents with laws that have kept students in classrooms and woke propaganda out. She has even taken action to address our border crisis while the Biden Administration makes it worse. I am thrilled the American people will hear directly from Gov. Reynolds. The President and his team should take notes.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>But on February 23, Politico reported that Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) also planned to give an official response to Biden\u2019s first formal State of the Union, on behalf of the far-left Working Families Party.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Scoop: Rashida Tlaib will deliver a formal response to President Biden\u2019s SOTU address on behalf of the left-wing Working Families Party. She\u2019s expected to hammer moderates who have stymied his agenda. <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/Xc4FZ7ACWf\">https:\/\/t.co\/Xc4FZ7ACWf<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Holly Otterbein (@hollyotterbein) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hollyotterbein\/status\/1496455601416814598?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">February 23, 2022<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>According to Politico, Tlaib is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.politico.com\/news\/2022\/02\/23\/squad-member-to-deliver-response-to-biden-sotu-00010877\">expected to go on the attack<\/a> against moderate Democrats, some of whom are viewed as roadblocks to President Biden\u2019s agenda \u2014 particularly the policies and agenda items supported by the far-left wing of the party.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTlaib will praise Biden\u2019s stimulus bill and make the case that liberals have pushed aggressively for his agenda, according to a summary of her remarks shared exclusively with POLITICO,\u201d the outlet reported. \u201cShe is also planning to argue that Republicans and a handful of intransigent Democrats have blocked progress on lowering the cost of housing, health care and prescription drugs.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>By Monday, another name had been added to the list of responders: Congressman Colin Allred (D-TX) is now reportedly set to deliver a second Democratic response \u2014 and third overall \u2014 on behalf of the Congressional Black Caucus.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cA second Democrat responding to the President\u2019s State of the Union address. Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) was already poised to deliver one response. Now Rep.
