You know, it\u2019s always made it harder for blacks to vote. But<\/span><span> this<\/span><span> is trying to be able to figure out how to keep the black vote, when it occurs, from even counting,\u201d Biden claimed during his speech. Critics argue the bills are a subversion of the Constitution, which requires the federal government to defer to a given state\u2019s voting laws.<\/p>\n<p><span>Biden and the Democrats have repeatedly used hyperbolic language to describe Republican voter integrity measures. On multiple occasions, Biden <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2021\/03\/26\/jim-crow-21st-century-president-joe-biden-releases-statement-georgia-election-bill-kemp\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">referred to these measures<\/a> as the new \u201cJim Crow,\u201d implying that Republicans are racists who wish to prevent black Americans from voting.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>White House press secretary Jen Psaki said in 2021 that the <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2021\/07\/12\/psaki-election-reform-voter-id-democracy-civil-war-biden\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">GOP\u2019s election integrity<\/a> efforts are the \u201cworst challenge to our Democracy since the Civil War.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><span>The most contested part of Republican-supported voter integrity policies is voter ID requirements, which is supported by 80% of <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2021\/06\/21\/monmouth-american-voters-election-reform-photo-id-early-access-voting\/\"><span>Americans, according to Monmouth<\/span><\/a><span>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>The voter integrity debate made national headlines in Georgia in 2021. Major League Baseball boycotted the state\u2019s voting law by moving its All-Star Game out of Atlanta. <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2021\/03\/31\/georgia-voting-bill-absentee-voting-id-requirement-food-water\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>(RELATED: <\/strong><\/a><\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2021\/03\/31\/georgia-voting-bill-absentee-voting-id-requirement-food-water\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Georgia\u2019s New Voting Law \u2014 Myths And Facts)<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p><span>This isn\u2019t the first time Biden has made racially-charged statements.
