He has a reputation as a hands-on producer and talent manager with a keen interest in politics and news,&#8221; CNN&#8217;s Brian Stelter <a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.cnn.com\/2022\/02\/26\/media\/licht-cnn-president-zucker\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">wrote<\/a> in the Saturday announcement. <\/p>\n<p><b><a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/opinion\/jeff-zucker-and-his-lover-blow-up-cnn-as-they-depart\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">JEFF ZUCKER AND HIS LOVER BLOW UP CNN AS THEY DEPART<\/a><\/b> <\/p>\n<p>On Feb. 2, Zucker resigned over his failure to disclose a consensual relationship with a co-worker. Zucker kept the relationship hidden for years until an investigation into ousted anchor <a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/new-details-emerge-in-chris-cuomo-assault-scandal\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Chris Cuomo<\/a> unearthed the affair. In the interim, three CNN executives have <a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.cnn.com\/2022\/02\/26\/media\/licht-cnn-president-zucker\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">filled<\/a> the position. <\/p>\n<p>While Zucker oversaw news and sports at the network, Licht is slated to oversee only news.
