Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez\u2019s (D-NY) pro-defund the police Super PAC, Courage to Change.<\/p>\n<p>Cortez\u2019s super PAC released its questionnaire for prospective endorsees, and one question requires the candidates to pledge their support to defund the police.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"D-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"gmxrevmore\" class=\"H\"><\/figure>\n<p>The questionnaire\u00a0<a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/act.ocasiocortez.com\/survey\/ctc-questionnaire\/?action_id=14836677&#038;akid=.2657139.2t-JlV&#038;ar=1&#038;rd=1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">asks<\/a>:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>If running for a legislative position, do you pledge to vote for the following; alternatively, if running for an executive position or a position that does not vote on such matters, do you pledge to publicly support and work towards the following: A public safety strategy to reduce the annual budget for law enforcement and defense spending, and shift those funds towards community resources and programs, including: victim support and compensation funds; community schools; rehabilitation and re-entry programs for incarcerated persons?<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Because vulnerable Democrats like Axne, Spanberger, and Colin Allred have already taken money from Courage to Change, the National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) speculated that they received the cash on the condition of supporting efforts to defund the police.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDid @RepSpanberger &#038; @RepCindyAxne agree to defund the police in exchange for @AOC\u2019s campaign cash?\u201d the NRCC\u00a0<a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/nrcc\/status\/1496926944771788841?s=21\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">tweeted<\/a>.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Did <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/RepSpanberger?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@RepSpanberger<\/a> &#038; <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/RepCindyAxne?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@RepCindyAxne<\/a> agree to defund the police in exchange for <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/AOC?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@AOC<\/a>\u2019s campaign cash? <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/F8Gy7mtWXj\">https:\/\/t.co\/F8Gy7mtWXj<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 NRCC (@NRCC) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/NRCC\/status\/1496926944771788841?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">February 24, 2022<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Axne supported the House\u2019s George Floyd Justice in Policing Act, a Democrat-led\u00a0<a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/politics\/house-passes-george-floyd-justice-in-policing-act-in-party-line-vote\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">effort<\/a>\u00a0to undermine law enforcement officers in America.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThese candidates took money from AOC and refused to return it despite her demand that they commit to defunding the police,\u201d National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) spokesman Mike Berg\u00a0<a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/politics\/aoc-pac-pledge-slash-police-defense-spending-litmus-test\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">told<\/a>\u00a0Fox News. \u201cDemocrats can\u2019t be trusted to keep communities safe.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Congressional Leadership Fund press secretary Cally Perkins also called out Axne for taking cash from AOC\u2019s PAC. \u201cFrom voting to undermine law enforcement to accepting campaign cash from AOC\u2019s extreme anti-police group, it\u2019s clear Cindy Axne has sold out to the radical left,\u201d Perkins said. \u201cCrime is out of control and politicians like Cindy Axne continue to enable it at every turn.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Texas Democrat Rep.
