If confirmed, Jackson is expected to vote with leftist justices on key issues such as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/politics\/2022\/02\/25\/ketanji-brown-jackson-supreme-court\/\">abortion, gun rights, and affirmative action<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p>Jackson is currently a judge on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit where she repeatedly used her power to limit the actions of former President Donald Trump. In 2018, she ruled against Trump in a\u00a0federal employee\u00a0unions lawsuit even though <a href=\"https:\/\/casetext.com\/case\/am-fedn-of-govt-emps-v-trump\">she acknowledged<\/a> he had the constitutional authority to \u201cissue executive orders pertaining to the field of federal labor relations.\u201d In 2019, she used the Russian collusion hoax as <a href=\"https:\/\/casetext.com\/case\/comm-on-judiciary-v-mcgahn\">an excuse<\/a> to justify mandating that former White House counsel Don McGahn testify before the House Judiciary Committee.<\/p>\n<p>Before she joined the court, Jackson worked as an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.judiciary.senate.gov\/imo\/media\/doc\/Jackson%20Senate%20Questionnaire%20Public%20Final.pdf\">openly progressive attorney<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/obamawhitehouse.archives.gov\/realitycheck\/the-press-office\/president-obama-nominates-ketanji-brown-jackson-us-sentencing-commission\">Obama appointee<\/a> to the United States Sentencing Commission, where she was committed to forwarding the leftist agenda. More than two decades ago, the Breyer apprentice <a href=\"https:\/\/casetext.com\/case\/mcguire-v-reilly-7\">penned<\/a> an amicus\u00a0brief for the <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2021\/05\/08\/facebook-is-doing-planned-parenthoods-bidding-in-banning-pro-life-group-lifesitenews\/\">National Abortion Rights Action League (NARAL)<\/a>, and other organizations that kill babies in the womb, in support of a Democrat-backed law that prevented pro-life protesters from congregating outside abortion facilities. <\/p>\n<p>As a result of her work, Jackson has earned the favor of several pro-abortion, pro-LGBT, anti-religious liberty activist groups including <a href=\"https:\/\/civilrights.org\/resource\/support-the-confirmation-of-ketanji-brown-jackson-to-the-u-s-court-of-appeals-for-the-district-of-columbia-circuit\/\">The Leadership Conference on Civil and Human Rights<\/a>, which is composed of problematic organizations including the <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2020\/08\/24\/rnc-denounces-splc-as-radical-organization-that-inspired-shooting-at-conservative-organization-eight-years-ago\/\">radical Southern Poverty Law Center<\/a>, the increasingly <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2021\/06\/07\/internal-divisions-plague-the-aclu-as-leftist-activism-trumps-free-speech-advocacy\/\">anti-free-speech American Civil Liberties Union<\/a>, and Planned Parenthood. <\/p>\n<p>In contrast to how they treated Trump\u2019s Supreme Court nominees, members of the corrupt press are already painting Jackson as an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vox.com\/2022\/2\/25\/22912842\/supreme-court-nominee-ketanji-brown-jackson-biden\">\u201capolitical\u201d<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnn.com\/2022\/02\/25\/politics\/supreme-court-ketanji-brown-jackson\/index.html\">\u201chistoric\u201d<\/a> choice who should be confirmed by the Democrat-controlled Senate. <\/p>\n<p>Democrat legislators have already expressed their support for any Biden pick as long the nominee will combat <a href=\"https:\/\/abcnews.go.com\/Politics\/black-female-lawmakers-call-biden-pick-supreme-court\/story?id=82784447\">\u201cwhite supremacy\u201d<\/a> and vote to uphold <em>Roe v. Wade<\/em> in the court\u2019s upcoming decision on <em>Dobbs v. Jackson Women\u2019s Health Organization<\/em>. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m looking for someone who\u2019s going to be not only highly qualified, as all of the people that you already talked about are, but who really brings to the judiciary the kind of diversity that I\u2019d like, that \u2014 someone who will consider the impact, the effects of whatever decision-making is on people in our country,\u00a0so that they\u2019re not making decisions just based on, which I would like them to base it on, law, which would be nice, and precedent,\u00a0and who are not eagerly trying to get rid of decades of precedent that would protect a woman\u2019s right to choose, for example, and voting rights, etc.,\u201d Democrat Sen.
