Elissa Slotkin (D-MI) in the midterm elections, slammed the congresswoman for voting with House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) 100 percent of the time.<\/p>\n<p>When asked by\u00a0Punchbowl News if President Joe Biden\u2019s unpopularity affects her reelection campaign, Slotkin pointed out that midterm elections are also bad for the party not in the White House and acknowledged Biden\u2019s\u00a0low approval ratings.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"D-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"gmxrevmore\" class=\"H\"><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cYou have to establish yourself as something separate from what people see on TV, and that\u2019s difficult. But that\u2019s our job,\u201d the Democrat congresswoman said, emphasizing that she has \u201calways had to separate [herself] from the party [and] from party leadership.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>However,\u00a0Slotkin was quickly called out by\u00a0Barrett for consistently voting with Pelosi.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"css-901oao css-16my406 r-poiln3 r-bcqeeo r-qvutc0\">\u201cSlotkin\u2019s gaslighting of mid-MI voters is really something. She claims to separate from Nancy Pelosi, yet votes with her 100% of the time. Don&#8217;t take my word for it, see her record: <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/W6DOcQwPpJ\">https:\/\/t.co\/W6DOcQwPpJ<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/j9aPF4IUHq\">pic.twitter.com\/j9aPF4IUHq<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Tom Barrett (@barrettbrigade1) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/barrettbrigade1\/status\/1496571692935753739?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">February 23, 2022<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>According to an analysis of\u00a0<span class=\"css-901oao css-16my406 r-poiln3 r-bcqeeo r-qvutc0\">ProPublica\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/projects.propublica.org\/represent\/members\/P000197-nancy-pelosi\/compare-votes\/S001208-elissa-slotkin\/117\">data<\/a>,\u00a0<span class=\"r-18u37iz\">Slotkin has voted with Pelosi, who is currently the highest-ranking Democrat in the House of Representatives, 100 percent of the time.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"css-901oao css-16my406 r-poiln3 r-bcqeeo r-qvutc0\"><span class=\"r-18u37iz\">\u201cNancy Pelosi and Elissa Slotkin are from the same party and have agreed on 100 percent of votes in the 117th Congress,\u201d ProPublica <a href=\"https:\/\/projects.propublica.org\/represent\/members\/P000197-nancy-pelosi\/compare-votes\/S001208-elissa-slotkin\/117\">stated<\/a>. \u201cThey have disagreed on 0 votes out of 66 votes in the 117th Congress.\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Additionally, while she claims to \u201cseparate\u201d herself from her party\u2019s leadership, an analysis of data kept from FiveThirtyEight <a href=\"https:\/\/projects.fivethirtyeight.com\/biden-congress-votes\/elissa-slotkin\/\">showed<\/a> that Sloktin also votes 100 percent of the time with bills supported by Biden.<\/p>\n<p>Barrett, during an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2021\/11\/28\/exclusive-michigans-tom-barrett-democrat-elissa-slotkin-not-moderate\/\">interview<\/a> with\u00a0<em>Breitbart News Saturday<\/em>\u00a0last year, if he is elected to\u00a0Congress, he would\u00a0stand up against Biden\u2019s partisan agenda.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cElissa Slotkin is not a moderate. She\u2019s been in lockstep with Nancy Pelosi and Joe Biden this entire term, and we\u2019re gonna call her out on that. It\u2019s just not okay,\u201d the Republican said at the time, \u201cI\u2019m a conservative.
