Love the look on his face!\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/checkyourfact.com\/2018\/12\/09\/fact-check-trump-g20-lapel-pin\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">(RELATED: Was Trump The Only Leader To Not Wear A G20 Lapel Pin?)<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Though the lone picture may appear to show Trump refusing Trudeau\u2019s handshake, video footage and photographs from the day of the meeting shows the two leaders did indeed shake hands.<\/p>\n<p>The image is from Trudeau and Trump\u2019s meeting at the 2018 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ctvnews.ca\/politics\/trump-bashes-trudeau-as-very-dishonest-and-weak-as-g7-agreement-crumbles-1.3966661\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">G7 Summit<\/a> in Ottawa. The summit was attended by leaders from the European Union, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the U.K. and the U.S. who discussed an array of issues including trade and denuclearization, according to the European Council\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.consilium.europa.eu\/en\/meetings\/international-summit\/2018\/06\/08-09\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">website<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=PC7n06xIcLM\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">CTV News<\/a> published a video of the full exchange between the two on June 8, 2018 that clearly shows the two world leaders shaking hands and smiling for the cameras before having a brief press conference with the media.
