The\u00a0combined court fights so far have tallied nearly 20\u00a0interim or final victories.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<p>They also note that the names behind the lawsuits are not the names one might be accustomed to seeing.\u00a0For example, the left is consistently positioning itself against the NRA, but the NRA is not the organization behind the majority of pro-Second Amendment suits at this time:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p class=\"gnt_ar_b_p\">The organizations behind the lawsuits aren\u2019t necessarily household names. Although the\u00a0National Rifle Association\u00a0is one of the organizations, the nation\u2019s best-known gun rights group was not\u00a0the most prolific plaintiff. Two other groups, the\u00a0Second Amendment Foundation\u00a0and the Firearms Policy Coalition were among the plaintiffs in 65\u00a0of the cases, while the NRA had that role\u00a0in 12, <em>USA TODAY\u2019s<\/em> review found.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The Firearm Policy Coalition\u2019s Dan Dement observed, \u201cThe numbers of authoritarian regulations are increasing, and we\u2019re there to fight them. Thankfully, we do have a legal system where we can pursue justice against infringements of our natural rights.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><em>USA TODAY<\/em> also points out that lawsuits against gun control have become increasingly popular with black Americans.
