The BLM activist, who described herself as the \u201cBlack Panther of Oxford\u201d, remains in hospital to this day after reportedly suffering \u201ccatastrophic\u201d injuries.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"D-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"gmxrevmore\" class=\"H\"><\/figure>\n<p>Four men, Prince Dixon, 25, Troy Reid, 20, Cameron Deriggs, 19, and Devonte Brown, 19, had been charged in connection to the shooting. All of the men plead not guilty to conspiracy to commit murder as well as to gun charges levelled against them.<\/p>\n<p>The trial at the Old Bailey had been scheduled to commence on March 7th, however, the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) announced on Tuesday that they were forced to withdraw the charges against all four men and the presiding judge in the case, Mr Justice Hilliard has recorded formal not guilty verdicts for all the former defendants, the BBC <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bbc.co.uk\/news\/uk-england-london-60479678\">reported<\/a>.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_19974106\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/GettyImages-1233083452.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-19974106\" src=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/GettyImages-1233083452.png\" alt=\"LONDON, ENGLAND - MAY 24: Police forensic officers on Consort Road as they investigate the shooting of Sasha Johnson on May 24, 2021 in London, England. Photo by Chris J Ratcliffe\/Getty Images<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>The prosecutor tasked with the case, Mark Heywood QC said that he could not disclose the full reasons why the charges had to be dropped. However, he said that because the four men who entered the residence and fired a weapon at the attendees of the party were wearing balaclavas during the attack, it had proven impossible to verify their identity.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<p>While the Crown alleged that the four masked men were the same as the defendants, there was not enough evidence to connect them to the shooting. The case, the prosecutor said, comprised in the end of circumstantial evidence from CCTV footage and cell phone data which pointed to them having planned an attack with \u201cmurderous intent\u201d against at least one of the people at the party.<\/p>\n<p>Mr Heywood also claimed to have evidence that there had been a \u201cfalling out\u201d between Mr Deriggs and Mr Brown and two 18-year-olds who lived at the house.<\/p>\n<p>Despite having recently installed security systems and having a guard placed at the gate of the house during the night of the shooting, the unidentified masked men were able to enter the party, with one carrying what is believed to have been a Glock 9mm pistol.<\/p>\n<p>Johnson, Heywood said, was in attendance because she was in a relationship with one of the other members of the household.<\/p>\n<p>Despite early conjecture of a political motive for her shooting, including from leftist Labour Party MP <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/europe\/2021\/05\/24\/labours-abbott-implies-blm-activist-shot-because-they-stood-up-racial-justice\/\">Diane Abbott<\/a>, the court heard that the prosecution did not believe it was a politically motivated attack against Johnson.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B3\" class=\"a8d adSo\"><\/figure>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">WATCH: BLM Activist Calls for Revolution in the UK, Saying: \u2018The Police Is No Different from the KKK\u2019 <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/20iuJbgTQ4\">https:\/\/t.co\/20iuJbgTQ4<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/ZR4R1fEU6z\">pic.twitter.com\/ZR4R1fEU6z<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Breitbart London (@BreitbartLondon) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/BreitbartLondon\/status\/1282746870092234752?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">July 13, 2020<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Sasha Johnson was a frequent face during the resurgent Black Lives Matter protest movement in Britain in 2020 following the death of George Floyd in America. The self-described \u201cBlack Panther\u201d rose to national attention\u00a0following the publication of a Breitbart London viral <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/europe\/2020\/07\/13\/watch-blm-activist-revolution-uk-police-no-different-kkk\/\">video<\/a>\u00a0in which she said British police are \u201cno different than the KKK\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>The far-left activist went on to become one of the founders of the Taking The Initiative Party (TTIP), initially described as \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/europe\/2020\/09\/01\/blm-radical-announces-the-first-black-led-political-party-in-the-uk\/\">the first black-led political party in the UK<\/a>\u201d \u2014 though she would go on to clarify the party was merely \u201cblack founded\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Sasha continued to court controversy. In April of last year, a report from Breitbart London revealed that Ms Johnson called for the \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/europe\/2021\/04\/01\/they-need-hanging-blm-radical-sasha-johnson-blasts-house-negroes-after-uk-race-report\/\">hanging<\/a>\u201d of\u00a0 \u201chouse negroes\u201d in response to a government report on racism organised by Jamaican heritage Tony Sewell. \u00a0Days later, Johnson\u2019s comments were seemingly denounced on the floor of the House of Commons by then-Equalities Minister Kemi Badenoch, who <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/europe\/2021\/04\/21\/the-left-calls-black-conservatives-house-negroes-for-daring-to-think-differently-says-kemi-badenoch-mp\/\">chastised<\/a> the left for using such racial slurs against black conservatives, like herself, to shut down debate.<\/p>\n<p>While she was a mainstay at Black Lives Matter and other African-centric protests in London, prior to her shooting, Johnson also attended several anti-lockdown demonstrations.
