Lich is expected back in court on March 2nd.<\/p>\n<p>Lich, who also claimed her bank account had been frozen prior to her arrest, is not the only Freedom Convoy organiser to be arrested by police in the last week.<\/p>\n<p>Organiser Chris Barber was also <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2022\/02\/17\/canadian-freedom-convoy-organizer-chris-barber-arrested-ottawa\/\">arrested<\/a> last Thursday but was <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbc.ca\/news\/canada\/ottawa\/convoy-organizers-charged-bail-1.6357263\">granted bail<\/a> the following day on the condition that he left the city of Ottawa within 24 hours of his release.<\/p>\n<p>The arrests of the organisers came after Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau invoked the Emergencies Act for the first time in Canadian history to clear the protests against Wuhan coronavirus restrictions, vaccine mandates and vaccine passports in downtown Ottawa last week.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Canadian Elites are taking their victory lap for crushing the Freedom Convoy&#8217;s peaceful protests for human liberty. <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/Ju3NJp2yE5\">https:\/\/t.co\/Ju3NJp2yE5<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Breitbart News (@BreitbartNews) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/BreitbartNews\/status\/1495857680749142022?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">February 21, 2022<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B3\" class=\"a8d adSo\"><\/figure>\n<p>Last weekend, police from multiple forces, including Ottawa Police, Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) and Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP), cleared the Ottawa protesters after three weeks of protests, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/europe\/2022\/02\/21\/police-lay-391-charges-on-191-freedom-convoy-protesters-in-ottawa-crackdown\/\">arrested 191 people<\/a> and laid a total of 391 charges against those who took part in the protests.<\/p>\n<p>Despite the clearing of the Ottawa protest and the border blockades ending before the Emergencies Act was officially invoked, Prime Minister Trudeau <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/national-security\/2022\/02\/21\/canada-justin-trudeau-insists-on-emergency-powers-despite-no-active-protests\/\">defended<\/a> the ongoing use of emergency powers on Monday.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis state of emergency is not over.
