The \u201cBody Like a Back Road\u201d singer hadn\u2019t formerly announced the couple was having a baby. However, divorce documents reveal that Fowler is due with their first child in May 2022.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>According to documents obtained by <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.tmz.com\/2022\/02\/21\/sam-hunts-pregnant-wife-divorce-adultery\/\"><span>TMZ<\/span><\/a><span>, the divorce paperwork says Hunt is \u201cguilty of inappropriate marital conduct,\u201d and also says the singer is \u201cguilty of adultery.\u201d Fowler filed the paperwork in Tennessee, a no-fault divorce state.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>The document doesn\u2019t specify if the couple had a prenuptial agreement. However, some wording in the filing suggests they may have had one as Fowler asked that \u201c\u2019the parties be awarded their respective separate property.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Hunt and Fowler have been married for five years. She allegedly requested, \u201ctransitional alimony, rehabilitative alimony, and alimony in future,\u201d in the document.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>The couple got engaged in January 2017 after 10 years of dating on and off, Daily Mail reported.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Fowler has also apparently served as inspiration for Hunt\u2019s hit song lyrics. In the Grammy nominee\u2019s song \u201cDrinkin\u2019 Too Much,\u201d Hunt says, \u201cHannah Lee, I\u2019m on my way to you\/ Nobody can love you like I do.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Hunt played football in both high school and as a quarterback at the University of Alabama, Birmingham before attempting a professional sports career. Then his plans changed after signing a contract with MCA Nashville in 2014. The singer started attracting more and more followers after the studio debut of \u201c<\/span><span>Montevallo,\u201d which was named after the Alabama town where Hunt and Fowler first met.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>The singer really hit the big time with \u201cBody Like a Back Road\u201d in 2021. The single spent more than thirty weeks at the top of Billboard\u2019s Hot Country Songs chart, breaking the record for the longest-running number one hit after reaching twenty-five consecutive weeks.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Hunt pleaded guilty to two counts of DUI after getting arrested for driving under the influence and having an open container in 2019. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>The Daily Mail <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailymail.co.uk\/tvshowbiz\/article-10535675\/Sam-Hunts-wife-Hannah-Lee-Fowler-files-divorce.html\"><span>reported<\/span><\/a><span> that the singer\u2019s jail sentence of 11 months and 29 days was suspended except for 48 hours, which Hunt agreed to serve at the DUI Education Centers rather than jail. He also agreed to complete an alcohol education course and surrender his driver\u2019s license for one year. After he gets his license reinstated, he\u2019ll need to have an interlock device installed on it.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>The singer apologized to fans with a social media post following the incident.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cWednesday night I decided to drive myself home after drinking at a friend\u2019s show in downtown Nashville,\u201d Hunt tweeted at the time. \u201cIt was a poor and selfish decision and I apologize to everyone who was unknowingly put at risk and let down by it.
