Version: 4.0.47--><div><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/AP_20160617809931-640x335-1.jpg\" class=\"ff-og-image-inserted\" alt=\"image\" \/><\/div>\n<p class=\"subheading\">Recent&nbsp;internal polling from the&nbsp;Democrat Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC)&nbsp;showed swing voters across the county believe the party went too far on some of their policies regarding defunding the police, coronavirus restrictions, and border issues.<\/p>\n<p>The DCCC polling, first <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.fo\/6NWDG#selection-939.11-948.1\">reported<\/a> by SFGate, showed that 80 percent of&nbsp;swing voters&nbsp;in competitive districts agree that&nbsp;\u201cDemocrats in Congress support defunding the police and taking more cops off of the street.\u201d This comes as reports have shown crime has <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2022\/02\/18\/d-c-mayor-muriel-bowsers-approval-rating-drops-crime-concerns\/\">risen<\/a> in cities across the county, including Washington, DC.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"D-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"gmxrevmore\" class=\"H\"><\/figure>\n<p>Additionally, the internal poll found that 66&nbsp;percent of&nbsp;swing voters&nbsp;in competitive districts agree that&nbsp;\u201cDemocrats in Congress have taken things too far in their pandemic response.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>There was also&nbsp;78 percent of swing voters&nbsp;in competitive districts who agree that \u201cDemocrats in Congress have created a border crisis that allows illegal immigrants to enter the country without repercussions and grants them tax-payer funded benefits once here.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, there was 61 percent of&nbsp;swing voters&nbsp;in competitive districts who agree with the two statements \u201cDemocrats in Congress are spending money out of control,\u201d and, \u201cDemocrats are teaching kids as young as five Critical Race Theory, which teaches that America is a racist country and that white people are racist.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<p>Fifty-nine percent also agreed that&nbsp;Democrats are too focused on pursuing an agenda that divides us and judging those who don\u2019t see things their way.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>As the Democrats are poised to lose the House in the upcoming midterm election, SFGate noted that \u201cThe slide deck provides a snapshot into some of Democrats\u2019 strategies as their outlook for the 2022 midterms <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.fo\/o\/6NWDG\/https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2022\/02\/01\/us\/politics\/democrats-gop-red-wave.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">grows<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.fo\/o\/6NWDG\/https:\/\/fivethirtyeight.com\/features\/some-early-clues-about-how-the-midterms-will-go\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">increasingly<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.fo\/o\/6NWDG\/https:\/\/nymag.com\/intelligencer\/2022\/02\/2022-red-wave-could-sweep-governors-races-too.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">grim<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In response to the poll numbers, Mike Berg, a spokesman for the&nbsp;National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC), the DCCC\u2019s Republican counterpart, said,&nbsp;\u201cVoters know the truth about Democrats\u2019 socialist agenda. Every vulnerable Democrat has a choice: retire or lose.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The DCCC\u2019s internal polls showed that the committee worked with an&nbsp;outside consulting group to conduct the polls,&nbsp;SFGate stated. The poll asked&nbsp;voters in the 60 most competitive House districts for the upcoming 2022 midterms between mid-January and early February.
