I\u2019d be remiss not to mention how they stepped into action so quickly,\u201d the restaurant\u2019s David Chen commented.<\/p>\n<p>The moment Curtis McLaughin, who is trained as a nurse and policeman, saw the truck catch fire, he jumped out of his own car that was sitting in line right behind the truck and ran toward it.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe was struggling to get out, and I went and helped him get out of the car. And as soon as that, the car just\u2026 the engine, pretty much engulfed in flames,\u201d he recalled.<\/p>\n<p>Thanks to his bravery and quick thinking, he saved John Price\u2019s life.<\/p>\n<p>In a social media post on Friday, the restaurant <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/cfasouthroads\/posts\/1900124666839601\">shared<\/a> a photo of the reunion and said, \u201cWe are so blessed by Curtis\u2019 courage during the fire last week and we are truly grateful!\u201d<\/p>\n<div class=\"fb-post\" data-href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/cfasouthroads\/posts\/1900124666839601\" data-width=\"640\">\n<blockquote cite=\"https:\/\/graph.facebook.com\/393905224128227\/posts\/1900124666839601\/\" class=\"fb-xfbml-parse-ignore\">\n<p>Last night we were able to have dinner with both Curtis and John.
