For those interested in reality, here\u2019s a good debunking of their latest nonsense.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Clinton\u2019s statement linked to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vanityfair.com\/news\/2022\/02\/donald-trump-hillary-clinton-white-house-spying\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">an article<\/a> from Vanity Fair arguing that Durham\u2019s report did not, in fact, implicate any spying from the Clinton campaign. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2020\/12\/08\/john-brennan-no-spying-trump-campaign\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">(RELATED: John Brennan Says There Was \u2018No Spying\u2019 On Trump\u2019s Campaign)<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Durham\u2019s filing came from the case of <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2020\/10\/07\/cia-hillary-clinton-john-ratcliffe-russia\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Michael Sussmann<\/a>, a former Perkins Coie attorney charged with lying to federal agents about his work for the Clinton campaign.<\/p>\n<p>Durham\u2019s report states that lawyers from a firm enlisted by the Clinton campaign, referred to as \u201cLaw Firm-1,\u201d paid a tech firm run by one Rodney Joffe that \u201cexploited\u201d access to private servers that were kept at Trump Tower and later at the White House. Durham\u2019s document refers to Joffe as \u201cTech Executive-1.\u201d Sussmann worked with Joffe on the effort and then subsequently \u201cassembled and conveyed the allegations to the FBI on behalf of at least two specific clients,\u201d one of which was the Clinton campaign, according to the filing.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn connection with these efforts, Tech Executive-1 exploited his access to non-public and\/or proprietary Internet data,\u201d Durham\u2019s report <a href=\"https:\/\/storage.courtlistener.com\/recap\/gov.uscourts.dcd.235638\/gov.uscourts.dcd.235638.35.0_2.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">alleges<\/a>. \u201cTech Executive-1 also enlisted the assistance of researchers at a U.S.-based university who were receiving and analyzing large amounts of Internet data in connection with a pending federal government cybersecurity research contract.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTech Executive-1 tasked these researchers to mine Internet data to establish \u2018an inference\u2019 and \u2018narrative\u2019 tying then-candidate Trump to Russia,\u201d Durham alleges in the filing. \u201cIn doing so, Tech Executive-1 indicated that he was seeking to please certain \u2018VIPs,\u2019 referring to individuals at Law Firm-1 and the Clinton campaign.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The report alleges that Clinton operatives then used the information they garnered and went to the CIA and FBI in an attempt to get the organizations to legitimize phony allegations by opening formal investigations.<\/p>\n<p>Trump released a furious <a href=\"https:\/\/www.donaldjtrump.com\/news\/news-6f3nu49fmu1563\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">statement<\/a> Saturday following the report\u2019s release, arguing that it proved Clinton and Democrats \u201ccompletely fabricated\u201d accusations that he had colluded with Russia in the 2016 presidential election.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe latest pleading from Special Counsel Durham proves indisputable evidence that my campaign and presidency were spied on by operatives paid by the Hillary Clinton campaign in an effort to develop a completely fabricated connection to Russia,\u201d Trump wrote in a statement. \u201cThis is a scandal far greater in scope and magnitude than Watergate and those who were involved in and knew about this spying operation should be subject to criminal prosecution.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn a stronger period of time in our country, this crime would have been punishable by death.
