On Tuesday, Grassley accused Clinton of spying on then-candidate Trump and abusing her connections in government to continue the surveillance once he was inaugurated.<\/p>\n<p>On Sunday, The Daily Wire <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/bombshell-clinton-campaign-paid-tech-company-to-infiltrate-trump-tower-white-house-servers-durham-says\">reported<\/a> that Durham\u2019s revelation was \u201cmade in a court filing late last week that centered on potential conflicts of interest connected to the representation of former Clinton campaign lawyer Michael Sussman, who has been charged with allegedly lying to the FBI\u201d:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><em>The filing says that Sussman and the tech executive had met and been in contact with another lawyer who was working for the Clinton campaign.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>The filing says that during the summer of 2016, the tech executive worked with Sussman, an investigative firm retained by a law firm on behalf of the Clinton campaign, and employees at tech companies to gather \u201cdata.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cIn connection with these efforts, Tech Executive-1 exploited his access to non-public and\/or proprietary Internet data,\u201d the filing states. \u201cTech Executive-1 also enlisted the assistance of researchers at a U.S.-based university who were receiving and analyzing large amounts of Internet data in connection with a pending federal government cybersecurity research contract.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cTech Executive-1 tasked these researchers to mine Internet data to establish \u2018an inference\u2019 and \u2018narrative\u2019 tying then-candidate Trump to Russia,\u201d Durham states. \u201cIn doing so, Tech Executive-1 indicated that he was seeking to please certain \u2018VIPs,\u2019 referring to individuals at Law Firm-1 and the Clinton campaign.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The Daily Wire also <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/bombshell-clinton-campaign-paid-tech-company-to-infiltrate-trump-tower-white-house-servers-durham-says\">added<\/a> that the alleged illegal-monitoring did not stop once the campaign was over, but rather continued to the Trump White House:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><em>The tech company that the tech executive worked for \u201chad come to access and maintain dedicated servers\u201d for the Executive Office of the President as \u201cpart of a sensitive arrangement whereby it provided DNS resolution services to the EOP,\u201d the filing said. \u201cTech Executive-1 and his associates exploited this arrangement by mining the EOP\u2019s DNS traffic and other data for the purpose of gathering derogatory information about Donald Trump.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The news, which some have&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtontimes.com\/news\/2022\/feb\/14\/worse-than-watergate-what-did-hillary-clinton-and-\/\">described<\/a> as worse than Watergate, has largely been ignored by the mainstream media, or twisted to focus on Trump\u2019s reaction to filings. Over the weekend, Trump implied that the perpetrators of this spying should be tried for treason, punishable by death, as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/trump-responds-to-bombshell-report-claiming-clinton-campaign-paid-to-infiltrate-white-house-servers\">reported<\/a> by The Daily Wire:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><em>\u201cThe latest pleading from Special Counsel John Durham provides indisputable evidence that my campaign and presidency were spied on by operatives paid by the Hillary Clinton Campaign in an effort to develop a completely fabricated connection to Russia,\u201d Trump said in a statement. \u201cThis is a scandal far greater in scope and magnitude than Watergate and those who were involved in and knew about this spying operation should be subject to criminal prosecution.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cIn a stronger period of time in our country, this crime would have been punishable by death,\u201d Trump continued. \u201cIn addition, reparations should be paid to those in our country who have been damaged by this.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>In response to all of this, Grassley tweeted, \u201cIn 2016 the Hillary Clinton Campaign spied on Trump Campaign.
