In the original, Pitt can be seen wearing a different t-shirt with no messaging.<\/p>\n<p><strong><span>Fact Check:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Pitt is well known for his roles in films like \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.imdb.com\/title\/tt0137523\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Fight Club<\/a>\u201d and \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.imdb.com\/title\/tt0240772\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Ocean\u2019s Eleven<\/a>,\u201d according to his <a href=\"https:\/\/www.imdb.com\/name\/nm0000093\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">IMDb page<\/a>. Now, social media users are sharing a photo of him wearing sunglasses, a hat and a black t-shirt featuring the phrase \u201cKeep America Trumpless.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The image, however, has been digitally altered. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/checkyourfact.com\/2021\/11\/29\/fact-check-sylvester-stallone-trump-shirt\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">(RELATED: Did Sylvester Stallone Wear This Pro-Trump Shirt?)<\/a>&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Through a reverse image search, Check Your Fact discovered the original photo was taken in Venice, Italy in August 2019 and shows Pitt wearing a plain, gray t-shirt without any message. The image can be found on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gettyimages.com.mx\/detail\/fotograf%C3%ADa-de-noticias\/brad-pitt-arrives-at-the-76th-venice-film-fotograf%C3%ADa-de-noticias\/1170681078?adppopup=true\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Getty Images<\/a> with a caption that reads, \u201cBrad Pitt arrives at the 76th Venice Film Festival on August 28, 2019 in Venice, Italy.\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gettyimages.com.mx\/detail\/fotograf%C3%ADa-de-noticias\/brad-pitt-is-seen-arriving-at-the-76th-venice-fotograf%C3%ADa-de-noticias\/1170722486?adppopup=true\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Other<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gettyimages.com.mx\/detail\/fotograf%C3%ADa-de-noticias\/brad-pitt-arrives-at-the-76th-venice-film-fotograf%C3%ADa-de-noticias\/1170699658?adppopup=true\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">images<\/a> taken during the event can be viewed on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gettyimages.com.mx\/detail\/fotograf%C3%ADa-de-noticias\/brad-pitt-is-seen-arriving-at-the-76th-venice-fotograf%C3%ADa-de-noticias\/1170722396?adppopup=true\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Getty Images<\/a>, showing Pitt wearing the same, unadorned t-shirt.<\/p>\n<p>While there is no evidence Pitt wore the \u201cKeep America Trumpless\u201d shirt, he did support President Joe Biden in the 2020 presidential election by narrating a campaign ad that aired during the 2020 World Series, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnn.com\/2020\/10\/24\/politics\/brad-pitt-narrator-joe-biden-ad-world-series\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">CNN<\/a>. He also voiced his disappointment with the Senate\u2019s acquittal of Trump in its 2020 impeachment trial, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.usatoday.com\/story\/entertainment\/movies\/oscars\/2020\/02\/09\/oscars-2020-brad-pitts-impeachment-comment-explained-very-serious\/4710474002\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">USA Today<\/a> reported.<\/p>\n<p>This is not the first time Pitt has been the subject of a false claim on social media.
