Anyone in need of urgent care is immediately transferred to a local hospital.\u201d<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">UK Border Force Threatens Strike over Plan to Make Them Enforce Border <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/YjV6f2c2Gj\">https:\/\/t.co\/YjV6f2c2Gj<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Breitbart London (@BreitbartLondon) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/BreitbartLondon\/status\/1479543361216389124?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">January 7, 2022<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>While the drownings of migrants have become a common occurrence in the Mediterranean where ruthless people smugglers send migrants in often unseaworthy vessels to try to reach Europe, frequent deaths in the English Channel is a relatively new phenomenon as more illegals attempt the journey instead of trying to sneak into the country via other means.<\/p>\n<p>Amid record waves of illegal immigration across the treacherous waterway last year,&nbsp;a record <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/europe\/2021\/11\/24\/dozens-dead-as-migrant-boat-capsizes-off-the-coast-of-calais\/\">27 migrants<\/a>, including a small child and a pregnant woman, died in just one disaster in November. According to the&nbsp;<a class=\"x5l\" href=\"https:\/\/missingmigrants.iom.int\/region\/europe?region_incident=4061&amp;route=3896&amp;year%5B%5D=2500\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener external\">Missing Migrant Project<\/a>, a total of 44 people were recorded as either having gone missing or drowning last year.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B3\" class=\"a8d adSo\"><\/figure>\n<p>While the tragedy in November spurred outrage in both Paris and London, the two respective governments have so far failed to come to an agreement on the migrant crisis or indeed the return of illegals.&nbsp;It has been <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/europe\/2021\/12\/04\/france-says-non-to-british-proposals-to-end-channel-migrant-crisis\/\">suggested<\/a>&nbsp;any prospect for a deal to be reached will have to wait until after the French presidential election in April, as President Emmanuel Macron is unlikely to take the risk of appearing to concede to English demands before voters go to the polls.<\/p>\n<p>The French government, including Mr Macron, has consistently blamed the British government for the migrant crisis, alleging that a lax approach from the UK government towards illegal migrants working in the UK \u2014 often in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/europe\/2020\/07\/13\/estimated-100000-slaves-britain-10000-coronavirus-leicester-reports\/\">modern slavery conditions<\/a> \u2014 has resulted in the country becoming economically attractive.<\/p>\n<p>Shortly after the drowning of the 27 migrants, French Interior Minister G\u00e9rald Darmanin <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/europe\/2021\/11\/29\/france-uk-is-too-economically-attractive-for-illegal-migrants\/\">said<\/a> that migrants are&nbsp;\u201cattracted by England, especially the labour market which means you can work in England without any identification.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>These sentiments were backed up by Brexit leader Nigel Farage, who <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/europe\/2021\/11\/28\/farage-slams-boris-for-rudderless-response-to-migrant-crisis\/\">said<\/a>&nbsp;at the time: \u201cYou can put 20,000 police on the beaches in France but if the pull factors remain as strong here, namely four-star accommodation, three square meals a day, healthcare, dental care, spending money and the massive illegal economy that thrives in Britain with slave conditions, although nobody dares want to talk about that whether it is in Leicester or wherever it is.\u201d<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\"
