One year later, 11 percent of Democrats say they want lower migration.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/img-0-1.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-19885530\" src=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/img-0-1.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"915\" height=\"542\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>And Biden\u2019s deputies are still digging him deeper into the hole.<\/p>\n<p>In 2021, for example, Alejandro Mayorkas, Biden\u2019s pro-migration border security chief, helped roughly 1.5 million economic migrants cross the southern border. Mayorkas also relaxed rules to help companies import <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/economy\/2022\/01\/22\/biden-invites-more-foreign-workers-take-americans-white-collar-careers\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">more foreign graduates<\/a> for jobs needed by U.S. graduates, and announced plans to expand asylum-based migration into Americans\u2019 jobs and communities.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/home.treasury.gov\/news\/press-releases\/jy0565\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">extraction-migration economic strategy<\/a> was outlined on January 21 by Treasury Secretary Janet Yellon in a speech to&nbsp;\u2018Virtual Davos Agenda\u2019 which was organized by the globalist World Economic Forum.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B3\" class=\"a8d adSo\"><\/figure>\n<p>The administration\u2019s economic policy is a \u201cmodern supply side approach\u201d that boosts economic growth with more imported workers, productivity gains, and tax reforms, she said:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>My thanks to Klaus [Schwab] and to the World Economic Forum for hosting me.<\/p>\n[\u2026]\n<p>Labor supply has been a concern in the United States even before the pandemic, in part due to an aging population and in part due to a labor force participation rate that has trended downward over the past 20 years. &nbsp;Now COVID and declining immigration have further reduced the workforce \u2026<\/p>\n<p>A second focus of the Biden agenda is to enhance productivity.&nbsp;Over the last decade, U.S. labor productivity growth averaged a mere 1.1 percent\u2014roughly half that during the previous fifty years. &nbsp;This has contributed to slow growth in wages and compensation, with especially slow historical gains for workers at the bottom of the wage distribution.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>But these goals are contradictory. The immigration of more labor actually reduces <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/economy\/2021\/09\/18\/white-house-amnesty-cuts-wages-but-not-for-the-longer-run\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">per-person wages<\/a> and minimizes investors\u2019 incentives to raise <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2021\/10\/21\/critics-feds-ok-fortune-500-war-on-u-s-professional-class\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">productivity<\/a>, even as it also expands the overall size of the economy.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"D-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<p>Biden\u2019s pro-migration deputies are already reinflating the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/immigration\/2021\/12\/20\/washington-post-low-wage-employers-struggle-after-cheap-labor-bubble\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">cheap-labor bubble<\/a> that existed from the 1990s until it was popped by the combination of Trump\u2019s lower-immigration policies and China\u2019s coronavirus crash. The labor bubble encouraged Wall Street investors to create many low-wage jobs, to reduce investment in high-wage jobs and productivity-boosting machinery, and to bet on a consumer economy that is inflated by deficit spending and extraction migration.<\/p>\n<p>The contradictory policies are likely caused by differences within Biden\u2019s political coalition and help drive public disappointment in his approach.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">President Joe Biden&#8217;s poll rating on immigration has slipped down to 35 percent, according to a survey by the Associated Press. <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/3HrQZxenu8\">https:\/\/t.co\/3HrQZxenu8<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Breitbart News (@BreitbartNews) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/BreitbartNews\/status\/1443742465983385604?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">October 1, 2021<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B4\" class=\"a8d adSo\"><\/figure>\n<p>Biden and many of his east coasts allies \u2014 such as unions \u2014 seem to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2021\/05\/31\/joe-biden-exposes-wages-vs-migration-split-in-white-house\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">want a high-wage, high-tech economy<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>But many of his deputies \u2014 including his chief of staff, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/economy\/2021\/05\/19\/zuckerbergs-fwd-us-prods-joe-biden-to-revive-amnesty-push\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Ron Klain<\/a> \u2014 are entwined with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/tag\/fwd-us\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">the coastal investors<\/a> who want to expand the nation\u2019s consumer economy with more cheap workers, high-occupancy renters, and government-aided consumers.<\/p>\n<p>The investors\u2019&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/economy\/2022\/02\/01\/democrats-china-bill-to-lobotomize-u-s-college-graduates\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">extraction-migration strategy&nbsp;<\/a>is hidden within the Build Back Better legislation, which has stalled because of deep and growing public and GOP opposition. It is also buried in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/economy\/2022\/02\/01\/democrats-china-bill-to-lobotomize-u-s-college-graduates\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">House Democrats\u2019 anti-China legislation<\/a>. and is strongly supported by the party\u2019s investor-funded woke progressives who want to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2022\/01\/28\/reports-u-s-society-grows-more-divided-amid-diversity\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">gain political power<\/a> by breaking America\u2019s populist culture into <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/economy\/2022\/02\/10\/biden-deputies-claim-us-is-a-nation-of-welcome-discard-nation-of-immigrants-pitch\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">a chaotic multicultural empire<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Politicians recognize that Americans want migration policy to help Americans, not investors, foreigners, and progressives.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMembers of Congress must prioritize our own citizens,\u201d David McCormick, a contender in the GOP Senate primary in Pennsylvania, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2022\/02\/14\/exclusive-pas-david-mccormick-outlines-america-first-immigration-vision-after-border-trip\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">told Breitbart News<\/a>. He continued:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>I support President Trump\u2019s pro-worker immigration reforms to include preventing corporate visa abuse, raising national security standards, establishing responsible asylum and refugee controls, implementing the Hire American program, and promoting a merit-based system. It is neither in the interest of today\u2019s citizens, nor tomorrow\u2019s immigrants, to admit numbers that erode living conditions, strain healthcare, and make it difficult for low-income workers to rise out of poverty. Washington needs to ensure an immigration system committed to the well-being of our people, from all places and backgrounds, who are already lawfully living here today.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>If Congress seeks to import workers, \u201cwe need to do it smartly, in order to once again ensure that those new workers aren\u2019t competing with our existing workers for jobs, competing for wages and salaries,\u201d Sen. Todd Young (R-IN) <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/economy\/2022\/02\/07\/republican-sen-todd-young-migration-should-not-hurt-americans-wages\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">told<\/a>&nbsp;Punchbowl\u2019s Anna Palmer in a&nbsp;January 25 interview. \u201cThis is how we\u2019ll build majority support for immigration reform,\u201d said Young, who is up for election this year.<\/p>\n<p>However, many GOP legislators try to evade debate on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/economy\/2021\/12\/10\/only-41-percent-voters-trust-republicans-immigration-policy\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">pocketbook damage<\/a> of illegal migration and legal migration by loudly denouncing border chaos, illegal-migrant crime, and the drug-smuggling cartels. So far, the denunciations have not been combined into a useful or realistic pro-American platform for GOP legislation in 2023.<\/p>\n<p>But the Gallup poll 22-point shift since January 2021 is another reminder that the public \u2014 including <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/EricLevitz\/status\/1462471316439711760?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1462471316439711760%7Ctwgr%5E%7Ctwcon%5Es1_&amp;ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.breitbart.com%2Fimmigration%2F2021%2F12%2F16%2Fpro-migration-groups-accelerate-hate-campaign-against-americans%2F\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Latino voters<\/a> \u2014 strongly opposes migration, especially labor migration.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">\ud83d\udea8\ud83d\udea8 New poll paints a very different picture of Hispanic voters than what&#8217;s often peddled in the media:<\/p>\n<p>\u2611\ufe0f 69% support Trump&#8217;s tax cuts<br \/>\u2611\ufe0f 55% support more spending on border security<br \/>\u2611\ufe0f 51% support limiting refugees and asylum<br \/>\u2611\ufe0f 49% support reducing illegal immigration <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/jKfdbFtMmg\">pic.twitter.com\/jKfdbFtMmg<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Giancarlo Sopo (@GiancarloSopo) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/GiancarloSopo\/status\/1470912243554566146?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">December 15, 2021<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The Gallup poll\u2019s summary also understates public opposition by downplaying the fervor of the respondents. For example, the details of the poll showed that only 7 percent of all respondents report being \u201cvery satisfied\u201d with Biden\u2019s policies, while 41 percent say they are \u201cvery dissatisfied.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Gallup poll also shows that 34 percent of respondents were \u201cvery\u201d or \u201csomewhat\u201d satisfied with immigration levels \u2014 even though very Americans actually <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rasmussenreports.com\/public_content\/politics\/immigration_index\/immigration_index_feb08\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">know the real numbers<\/a>. The Gallup statement did not say if the pollsters asked Americans what immigration numbers they prefer.<\/p>\n<p>Other polls show that Democrats are far less likely to vote on immigration questions in the 2022 midterms. For example, just 33 percent of Democrats \u2014 down from near 50 percent in 2019 \u2014 say migration is a critical issue, according to the results released&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/economy\/2022\/02\/06\/poll-migration-is-critical-for-gop-voters-ho-hum-for-democrats\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">February 3 report<\/a>&nbsp;by the&nbsp;Public Religion Research Institute. In contrast, 64 percent of Republicans \u2014 or two out of three \u2014 say immigration is a critical issue.<\/p>\n<p>A YouGov poll also shows the shift in public opinion against migration.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/img-1-1.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-19885538\" src=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/img-1-1.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"630\" height=\"831\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Migration moves money, and since at least 1990, the federal government has tried to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/tag\/extraction-migration\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">extract<\/a> people from poor countries so they can serve U.S. investors as cheap workers, government-aided consumers, and high-density renters in the U.S. economy.<\/p>\n<p>That&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/immigration\/2021\/12\/20\/washington-post-low-wage-employers-struggle-after-cheap-labor-bubble\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">economic<\/a>&nbsp;strategy&nbsp;has&nbsp;no stopping&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/economy\/2021\/11\/20\/gop-donors-economist-immigration-can-offset-foreign-trade-risks\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">point<\/a>, and it is harmful to ordinary Americans because it cuts their&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/immigration\/2021\/03\/12\/bloomberg-opts-h1bs-take-two-three-new-tech-jobs-each-year\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">career<\/a>&nbsp;opportunities and their&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/economy\/2021\/04\/08\/elite-academics-hide-amnesty-wage-pain-americans\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">wages<\/a>&nbsp;while it also raises their&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2021\/06\/16\/new-yorks-mayoral-rivals-vow-cheap-housing-plus-more-migrants\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">housing costs<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Extraction migration also curbs Americans\u2019&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/economy\/2020\/07\/11\/president-trump-wins-big-on-secret-meatpacking-robots\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">productivity<\/a>, shrinks their political&nbsp;<a class=\"x5l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/search?q=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.breitbart.com+%22john+binder%22+%22demographic+change%22&amp;rlz=1C5CHFA_enUS946US946&amp;oq=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.breitbart.com+%22john+binder%22+%22demographic+change%22&amp;aqs=chrome..69i57j69i58.10228j0j4&amp;sourceid=chrome&amp;ie=UTF-8\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener external\">clout<\/a>, and widens the regional wealth&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2021\/08\/13\/zuckerbergs-data-says-amnesty-gives-economic-windfall-coastal-democratic-states\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">gaps<\/a>&nbsp;between the Democrats\u2019 coastal states and the Republicans\u2019 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/economy\/2022\/01\/10\/former-steeltown-seeks-afghans-to-replace-americans\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Heartland<\/a> states.<\/p>\n<p>An economy built on extraction migration also&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2021\/11\/01\/survey-elite-imposed-migration-is-transforming-national-politics\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">radicalizes<\/a>&nbsp;Americans\u2019 democratic, compromise-promoting civic&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/search\/?s=%22white+supremacy%22#gsc.tab=0&amp;gsc.q=%22white%20supremacy%22&amp;gsc.page=1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">culture<\/a>&nbsp;and allows wealthy elites to ignore&nbsp;<a class=\"x5l\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Diseases_of_despair\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener external\">despairing Americans<\/a>&nbsp;at the&nbsp;<a class=\"x5l\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/JorgeAl49986803\/status\/1439791277571145737?s=20\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener external\">bottom of society<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Unsurprisingly, a&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2020\/03\/30\/harvard-harris-poll-5-in-6-americans-want-to-end-immigration-from-mexico\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">wide<\/a>&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/immigration\/2021\/01\/14\/poll-americans-want-companies-hire-americans-before-migrants\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">variety<\/a>&nbsp;of little-publicized <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2020\/04\/13\/ipsos-poll-nearly-8-in-10-americans-want-immigration-moratorium-for-u-s\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">polls<\/a> do <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2019\/08\/05\/poll-swing-voters-hugely-oppose-2020-democrats-promising-more-immigration\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">show&nbsp;<\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/immigration\/2020\/04\/24\/poll-trumps-opponents-applaud-his-jobs-for-americans-immigration-policy\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">deep<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2017\/01\/31\/poll-shows-public-support-trump-migration-poicy\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">broad<\/a>&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/economy\/2020\/05\/28\/business-poll-backfires-shows-public-wants-less-migration\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">opposition<\/a> to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2020\/11\/16\/exit-polls-3-in-4-voters-want-less-immigration-during-and-after-pandemic\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">labor migration<\/a>&nbsp;and the inflow of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/economy\/2020\/08\/06\/ipsos-poll-public-opposes-migrant-workers-by-21\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">temporary<\/a> contract workers&nbsp;into jobs sought by young U.S. graduates.<\/p>\n<p>The&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/immigration\/2021\/03\/05\/survey-americans-underestimate-quiet-public-opposition-to-legal-migration\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">opposition<\/a>&nbsp;is&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/immigration\/2021\/12\/16\/pro-migration-groups-accelerate-hate-campaign-against-americans\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">cross-sex<\/a>,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2020\/09\/24\/survey-hispanic-americans-most-opposed-to-illegal-immigration-defunding-police\/\" target=\"_blank\"
