last night\u2019s Super Bowl were clear: The future of the auto industry is electric,\u201d Biden wrote on his social media account.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"D-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"gmxrevmore\" class=\"H\"><\/figure>\n<p>It is unclear whether Biden watched the Super Bowl during his stay at the presidential retreat at Camp David, as the president continues keeping his activities on the location extremely private.<\/p>\n<p>General Motors released an ad featuring an emasculated Dr. Evil from the Austin Powers movie series promising to save the world first by producing electric vehicles before taking it over.<\/p>\n[embedded content]\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<p>BMW featured a commercial with actor Arnold Schwarzenegger as a retired Zeus rediscovering joy while driving an electric vehicle.<\/p>\n[embedded content]\n<p>Kia featured a commercial of an electric robotic dog chasing an EV6, and General Motors also featured an advertisement featuring a reboot of the well-known title sequence of the show the Sopranos to debut their upcoming electric pickup.<\/p>\n[embedded content]\n<p>Electric vehicle start-up Polestar previewed an ad promoting themselves as a morally superior car company.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B3\" class=\"a8d adSo\"><\/figure>\n[embedded content]\n<p>Biden boasted his administration was on the cutting edge of helping electric vehicles more popular.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMy Administration is making historic investments in electric vehicles and is building a nationwide network of EV chargers \u2014 creating good-paying, union jobs,\u201d Biden wrote.<\/p>\n<p>Biden\u2019s infrastructure bill <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reuters.com\/business\/autos-transportation\/us-detail-5-bln-plan-fund-ev-charging-network-2022-02-10\/\">plans<\/a> to spend $5 billion over five years on electric vehicle charging infrastructure.<\/p>\n<p>The House version of Biden\u2019s Build Back Better bill <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2021\/10\/28\/house-build-back-better-bill-offers-12500-tax-rebate-for-electric-vehicles-costing-up-to-74000\/\">proposes<\/a> as much as $12,500 in tax rebates for electric vehicles, but the bill failed to move forward in the Senate.<\/p>\n<p>Only nine percent of passenger cars <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/2022\/02\/14\/evs-dominated-super-bowl-ads-but-only-9percent-of-passenger-car-sales.html\">sold<\/a> in the world in 2021 are electric vehicles, including only 535,000
