Just 45% say they would support Biden on another run.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.documentcloud.org\/documents\/21203700-cnn-poll-neither-biden-trump-democrats-republicans-support-president-2024\">poll<\/a> was conducted from January 10 to February 6 and is composed of the responses of 1,527 U.S. adults. The survey\u2019s respondents were first contacted via mail before submitting answers through an online form or over the phone. The survey\u2019s margin of error is 3.3 points.<\/p>\n<p>Democrats\u2019 reasons for not backing Biden for reelection mostly centered on concerns related to the president\u2019s electability. According to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnn.com\/2022\/02\/13\/politics\/cnn-poll-biden-trump-2024\/index.html\">CNN<\/a>:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><em>Of those Democratic-aligned voters hoping to see Biden replaced on the ticket, 31% said it was because they didn\u2019t want him to be reelected. Thirty-five percent said it was mostly because they doubted Biden\u2019s ability to win against a Republican candidate, and the rest offered up other reasons for wanting to switch up the ticket \u2014 the most common (19%) being concerns about Biden\u2019s age. (Biden will turn 82 in November 2024.)<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Democratic-aligned voters also aren\u2019t yet gravitating en masse toward any specific alternatives: Only 12% of all Democratic and Democratic-leaning voters wanted to see a nominee who isn\u2019t Biden and had a specific alternative in mind. No individual candidate was named by more than 5% of those who didn\u2019t want Biden atop the ticket.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Former President Donald Trump also lacks majority support from his party for another presidential run, according to CNN. Forty-nine percent of Republicans and Republican-leaning respondents said that they would prefer to see another candidate take the GOP nomination for president in 2024, and 50% said they would support Trump\u2019s 2024 run.<\/p>\n<p>Similar to Biden, most Republicans against a 2024 Trump run cited concerns over his electability. Twenty-two percent of skeptical Republicans and Republican leaners said that doubted Trump could beat the Democratic candidate. Another 38% cited other reasons such as wanting a fresher candidate (9%) or a less polarizing candidate (7%). A large chuck of anti-Trump respondents (39%) said they did not want to see Trump as president again, however.<\/p>\n<p>Biden\u2019s poor showing is the latest bruising the president has taken in a series of recent polls. Biden\u2019s average disapproval rating has risen to 53.8%, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.realclearpolitics.com\/epolls\/other\/president-biden-job-approval-7320.html\">Real Clear Politics<\/a> polling average. His average approval rating is barely above 40%, sitting at 40.6% on Monday afternoon.<\/p>\n<p>Coinciding with Biden\u2019s falling approval rating, the GOP has been enjoying a bounce in voter identification as more Americans are self-identifying as Republicans or Republican-leaning. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/massive-shift-toward-gop-in-4th-quarter-2021-gallup-poll\">The Daily Wire<\/a> reported last month:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><em>Aggregating data from all U.S. Gallup telephone surveys in 2021, the Gallup poll revealed on Monday that between the first quarter of 2012 through the last quarter of the year, a radical and massive shift occurred in the American electorate, as what had been a nine-point lead for voters identifying or leaning toward the Democratic Party morphed into a five-point lead of voters identifying or leaning toward the Republican Party.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><em>The Daily Wire\u2019s first original film, Shut In, has made its cinematic debut, being met with rave reviews.
