While the February poll shows Trump\u2019s overall approval among Republicans stood at 76%, that figure was down 10 points over the same period.<\/p>\n<p>An NBC News poll from January found that Republicans were more supportive of the party than Trump by a <a href=\"https:\/\/s3.documentcloud.org\/documents\/21184709\/220027-nbc-news-january-poll.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">20-point margin<\/a>, a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nbcnews.com\/meet-the-press\/video\/republicans-prefer-trump-party-over-gop-by-2-to-1-poll-101358149507\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">39-point swing<\/a> from January 2021.<\/p>\n<p>These statistics come ahead of dozens of high-stakes primary elections, some of which feature Trump-endorsed candidates. Some, like Alabama Rep.
