Concerns of yet another Russian military operation against the country began in January after Biden suggested to reporters that he would not intervene to defend Ukraine, an American ally, in the event of a \u201cminor incursion\u201d into the country. The Biden White House has nonetheless dramatically urged Americans in Kyiv to leave to avoid \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2022\/02\/07\/joe-biden-americans-should-leave-ukraine-to-avoid-crossfire-with-russia\/\">crossfire<\/a>\u201d and <a href=\"https:\/\/apnews.com\/article\/russia-ukraine-united-states-europe-russia-kyiv-ff41abf90650aa5f456cbb6aafa4c5b3\">evacuated<\/a> its embassy this weekend.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B3\" class=\"a8d adSo\"><\/figure>\n<p>The word \u201cimminent\u201d made a conditioned return during a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.state.gov\/secretary-antony-j-blinken-joint-press-availability-with-republic-of-korea-foreign-minister-chung-eui-yong-and-japanese-foreign-minister-hayashi-yoshimasa\/\">press conference<\/a> Secretary of State Antony Blinken held in Hawaii on Sunday with his counterparts from Japan and South Korea.&nbsp;Blinken bizarrely shifted from Indo-Pacific concerns to discuss the situation in Ukraine prior to letting the foreign ministers speak, stating he had recently spoken to Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov about an alleged Russian invasion of that country to begin \u201cin the coming days.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYesterday, we ordered the departure of most of the Americans still at the U.S. embassy in Kyiv. The risk of Russian military action is high enough,\u201d Blinken said, \u201cand the threat is imminent enough, that this is the prudent thing to do. No one should be surprised if Russia instigates a provocation or incident, which it then uses to justify military action it had planned all along.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure id=\"D-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<p>Blinken\u2019s description of an alleged renewed Russia as \u201cimminent enough\u201d appears to violate White House press secretary Jen Psaki\u2019s administration moratorium on the use of the descriptor for the situation on the Russo-Ukrainian border.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI used that [the word imminent] once,\u201d Psaki <a href=\"https:\/\/www.whitehouse.gov\/briefing-room\/press-briefings\/2022\/02\/02\/press-briefing-by-press-secretary-jen-psaki-february-2-2022\/\">said<\/a>&nbsp;on February 2. \u201cAnd then we stopped using it because I think it sent an \u2014 a message that we weren\u2019t intending to send, which was that we knew that President Putin had made a decision.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI would say the vast majority of times I\u2019ve talked about it, we said, \u2018He could invade at any time.\u2019 That\u2019s true; we still don\u2019t know that he\u2019s made a decision,\u201d Psaki claimed.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B4\" class=\"a8d adSo\"><\/figure>\n<p>Biden himself said during the fateful \u201cminor incursion\u201d press conference that he <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2022\/01\/19\/biden-gives-up-on-stopping-putin-in-ukraine-he-will-move-in-he-has-to-do-something\/\">believed<\/a> Putin had decided to invade again.<\/p>\n<p>Blinken\u2019s comments on Sunday occurred less than 24 hours after Zelensky again denied having any information that made predictions of an imminent invasion reasonable.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf you or anyone has any additional information about a 100-percent chance of an invasion,\u201d Zelensky&nbsp;<a class=\"x5l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.i24news.tv\/en\/news\/international\/europe\/1644680174-ukraine-president-us-warnings-of-imminent-russian-invasion-stoke-panic\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener external\">told<\/a>&nbsp;reporters on Sunday, \u201cgive it to us.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The president once again insisted that his \u201cpeople\u2019s biggest enemy is panic in our country\u201d and lamented that the Biden White House was stoking unnecessary panic.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAll this information is only provoking panic and not helping us,\u201d Zelensky said.<\/p>\n<p>Zelensky spoke to Biden during an hour-long phone call the next day. Do we have tanks on the street?
