Climate change, Scott Evil says, is \u201carguably the No. 1 threat to the world now.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The ad ultimately moves on to showcase GM\u2019s line of electric cars as the Evil crew makes ready to drive off in EVs to rule the world.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<p>WATCH:<\/p>\n[embedded content]\n<p>The ad is part of GM\u2019s \u201cEverybody In\u201d ad campaign aimed at hawking its line of electric vehicles, including 30 new EVs that will be on sale by 2025.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe still need to continue work on that idea of normalizing EVs and help Americans across the country actually see themselves in one,\u201d GM Chief Marketing Officer Deborah Wahl recently <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/2022\/02\/10\/super-bowl-ads-austin-powers-villains-fight-climate-change-.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">told<\/a> the media. \u201cThis is really a core part of our entire business strategy at General Motors. We\u2019ll have an EV for every price point and lifestyle.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The <i>Austin Powers<\/i>-based commercial is joined by another car maker\u2019s Super Bowl ad featuring Hollywood celebs peddling electric cars.
