Carville answered that the American people want an election about improving their lives, not Trump.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLook, you got to wait and see when the committee comes out. I suspect their findings are going to be intriguing and devastating,\u201d he said. \u201cBut people don\u2019t want to know about it. People want an election about their lives. They don\u2019t want an election about a former president. They don\u2019t want an election about any of this. And if you\u2019ve shown substantial policies that improve people\u2019s lives and you\u2019ve run on that like we did in 2018, you will be successful.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>WATCH:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhat you can do is talk about how you\u2019re going to improve American lives and win elections \u2026 I want to be Dr. Win The Election and that has to be our entire focus between now and November.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Berman asked if the Democrats\u2019 electoral strategy should not be pinned on Trump. Carville said Democrats need to focus on the voters\u2019 \u201cfamilies, lives, community and city\u201d rather than the former president. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2021\/11\/04\/james-carville-stupid-wokeness-democrat-losses\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">(RELATED: James Carville Blames \u2018Stupid Wokeness\u2019 For Democrat Losses: \u2018Some Of These People Need To Go To A Woke Detox Center\u2019)<\/a> <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cPeople have an opinion on Trump, and that opinion is going to change in a period of time when events unfold over the year,\u201d Carville said. \u201cYou have a set number of time that you have to talk to voters, and the voter wants to hear what you\u2019re doing about their families, lives, community and their city. I\u2019m worried about fighting the crime rate, right now. Donald Trump is not at the foremost of my mind.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2021\/12\/17\/mitch-mcconnell-january-6-public-needs-to-know\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Jan. 6 Committee<\/a>, largely made up of House Democrats, has conducted <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2021\/08\/30\/january-6-committee-capitol-riot-subpoenas-house-republicans\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">investigations<\/a>, subpoenas and requested documents and records to unfold the events that took place at the Capitol riot. The RNC formally <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2022\/02\/04\/rnc-censure-liz-cheney-adam-kinzinger-january-6-committee\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">censured<\/a> Republican Reps.
