He said:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>You know, the Green Berets put on their berets, and we\u2019ve gone overseas to fight for our country over and over again and over the course of 20 years, right. Not to say that we can\u2019t do that again, in a different capacity, right? Our service members mean a lot to us and our country means a lot to us. And what you\u2019re seeing, in my opinion, is a lot of service members and a lot of veterans that are upset with how our country is being run that\u2019s why you see a lot of these special operators specifically Navy Seals and Green Berets jumping to onto the next mission.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Allcorn touched on how the percentage of veterans in Congress has consistently declined since the 1970s. \u201cThere\u2019s less than 20% are currently veterans right, and in the 70s it was closer to 75 or 77 percent, or something of that nature,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"D-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<blockquote>\n<p>You would think there would be more, and I think, with a failure of leadership in our country, that\u2019s why you\u2019re starting to see many of us step up and say, \u201cSend me send me to Congress, send me to serve once again.\u201d But I think we need more veterans in there. And after 20 years of war, I think that we have a fairly good perspective on, you know, what the cost is, when you decide to get into a conflict, all of us have lost friends. And these things can\u2019t be taken lightly.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Cowden mentioned that adding more veterans in Congress would potentially spur a congressional caucus of veterans.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>You\u2019re talking 35 or so veterans running for U.S. House and Senate around the nation. If only half of it got elected, you\u2019re talking about a caucus. So typically speaking to a brand new freshman representative, not a lot of influence. Lobbyists aren\u2019t even interested in them because they think they don\u2019t know anything. But when you show up with 15, 20 veterans you\u2019re talking about a caucus, it\u2019s important.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The veterans also criticized Biden\u2019s failed foreign policy, whether it was the botched withdrawal of Afghanistan or his weakness towards Russia.<\/p>\n<p>Anderson mentioned that Biden\u2019s Afghanistan withdrawal is one of the reasons why he ran for office.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B4\" class=\"a8d adSo\"><\/figure>\n<blockquote>\n<p>You know, I was sitting back and watching the botched withdrawal in Afghanistan. And that was the catalyst for being, you know, I lost five of my guys in Afghanistan. I lost two Green Berets and three infantrymen in Afghanistan, and I was thinking that the Biden administration\u2019s lack of accountability and lack of leadership during and since of the Afghan withdrawal, and I decided I wasn\u2019t going to sit back and scream at the TV anymore. I was sick and tired of sitting on the sidelines. Victor Mancilla\/U.S. Marine Corps via AP)<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>Allcorn also said that Russian leader Vladimir Putin is amassing troops on the Ukrainian border because he \u201csees how weak Joe Biden is.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Cowden said the Biden Administration \u201cis just evil,\u201d and added that \u201cthey just don\u2019t care.\u201d He also touched on how, during former President Barack Obama\u2019s administration, the military \u201credesigned\u201d the promotion process to promote weaker leaders.<\/p>\n<p>The three veterans also touched on the \u201cwoke\u201d military that\u2019s being formed under General Mark Milley and Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Has the U.S. military ever been led by a man so hapless and incompetent as woke General Mark Milley? <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/nfiDn8gxEH\">https:\/\/t.co\/nfiDn8gxEH<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Breitbart News (@BreitbartNews) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/BreitbartNews\/status\/1428563711720034306?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">August 20, 2021<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>\u201cOur military is not a social experiment. Our military has one mission and one mission only. That is defend our nation from our enemies foreign and domestic,\u201d Anderson said. He also pointed out that the Department of Defense focuses on the fewer than 100 service members classified as \u201cextremists\u201d instead of the 99.9 percent of members who are \u201cdoing the right thing.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Allcorn spoke on potential solutions to disinfect the military of its \u201cwoke\u201d ideology.<\/p>\n<p>There\u2019s a lot of different ways and different avenues, right, obviously going to Congress, you\u2019re there to not just vote on policies, right.
