Leadership in both chambers of Congress signaled they plan to vote on the continuing resolution to keep the government funded ahead of the February 18 deadline.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s unclear how long the bill will keep the government funded for since House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer (D-Md.) said negotiations are still ongoing.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><strong>\u201cWell, we\u2019re going to get something done, it\u2019ll probably be a short term CR and it\u2019ll be coming this week to give us a little more time,\u201d explained the Democrat lawmaker. \u201cNegotiations are very vigorous and I think we\u2019re going to get agreement, both on the top line of how much spending is gonna be and how it will be spent.
