We\u2019d be in tough shape. Why gun manufacturers?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Biden suggested that gun manufacturers enjoy special protections because of the \u201cpower of their lobbying ability\u201d and he called for an end to lawsuit protections.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">BIDEN: Gun manufacturers are &#8220;the only industry in America that is exempted from being sued, and I find it to be outrageous.&#8221; <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/T9LU7hQLP0\">pic.twitter.com\/T9LU7hQLP0<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Townhall.com (@townhallcom) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/townhallcom\/status\/1489310513909702657?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">February 3, 2022<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<p>Biden has made the claim that gun makers have immunity from lawsuits numerous times before and on April 9, 2021, Breitbart News <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/2nd-amendment\/2021\/04\/09\/fact-check-joe-biden-falsely-claims-gun-makers-have-legal-immunity\/\">pointed out<\/a> that his claims are false.<\/p>\n<p>Gun manufacturers are protected from lawsuits in situations where a gun, criminally used, was legally made and legally sold.
