I\u2019m not saying it\u2019s it\u2019s always going to work out fruitfully, but I am always of the mindset that engagement, and especially with someone like a Joe Rogan who is not, in my mind, an ideologue in any way.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure id=\"D-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"gmxrevmore\" class=\"H\"><\/figure>\n<p><strong><em>Watch below:&nbsp;<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n[embedded content]\n<p>Stewart pointed out a time when Rogan discussed myocarditis in kids with&nbsp;Josh Szeps and how Rogan adjusted his position upon learning new facts on the show.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cJoe just went, like, \u2018Ah, I didn\u2019t know, I didn\u2019t get that,&#8217;\u201d Stewart said. \u201cAnd that, to me, says that\u2019s a person that you can engage with. And so, I think all the overblown rhetoric about him.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnd here\u2019s the other thing,\u201d Stewart added. \u201c\u2018You\u2019re a musician, like how much misinformation is spread by \u2014 like, Eric Clapton is on the platforms that you\u2019re on, and he\u2019s a fucking psycho. Do you remove yourself from every platform?&#8217;\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Stewart concluded that misinformation should be fought elsewhere against serious bad actors.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMy point is, we all exist in this world and on this planet, and there\u2019s no question that there is egregious misinformation that\u2019s purposeful and hateful and all those other things,\u201d the former Comedy Central star said. \u201cAnd that being moderated is a credit to the platforms that run them. But this overreaction to Rogan, I think is a mistake. Science has, in many ways, helped ease the suffering of this pandemic, which was more than likely caused by science,\u201d Stewart said.<\/p>\n<p>He later added:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cOh my God, there\u2019s a novel respiratory coronavirus overtaking Wuhan, China. What do we do? Oh, you know who we could ask, the Wuhan novel respiratory coronavirus lab. The disease is the same name as the lab. That\u2019s just a little too weird, don\u2019t you think? And then they ask those scientists, they\u2019re like\u2026\u2019So, wait a minute, you work at the Wuhan respiratory coronavirus lab, how did this happen?\u2019 And they\u2019re like, \u2018Uhh, a pangolin kissed a turtle?\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>\u201c\u2018Oh my God,&nbsp;there\u2019s been an outbreak of chocolatey goodness near Hershey, Penn. What do you think happened?\u2019 I don\u2019t know, maybe a steam shovel mated with a cocoa bean,\u201d he said. \u201cOr it\u2019s the fucking chocolate factory!
