She <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2021\/05\/27\/black-lives-matter-co-founder-patrisse-cullors-resigns\/\">resigned<\/a>, but concerns lingered about $60 million in donations that BLM collected by the end of 2020 but for which <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/blms-millions-go-unaccounted-for-after-leaders-quietly-jump-ship\">no one in particular<\/a> at the organization seemed accountable.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"D-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"gmxrevmore\" class=\"H\"><\/figure>\n<p>California\u2019s Attorney General, Rob Bonta, was one of the most radical members of the state legislature when he was <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2021\/03\/24\/gavin-newsom-nominates-left-wing-legislator-rob-bonta-for-california-attorney-general\/\">appointed<\/a> in 2021 to replace Xavier Becerra, who left to take up the post of Secretary for Health and Human Services. Therefore the fact that he is cracking down on BLM\u2019s finances suggests the problems are of a deeply serious nature.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<p>The&nbsp;<em>Washington Examiner<\/em> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/black-lives-matter-shuts-down-fundraising-days-after-liberal-states-threatened-legal-action\">reported<\/a> Wednesday:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/black-lives-matter\">Black Lives Matter<\/a>&nbsp;<span class=\"ArticlePage-articleBody-firstLetter\">s<\/span>hut down all of its online fundraising streams late Wednesday afternoon, just days after California threatened to hold the charity\u2019s leaders personally liable over its lack of financial transparency.<\/p>\n<p>The move comes less than a week after a&nbsp;<i>Washington Examiner&nbsp;<\/i><a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/blms-millions-go-unaccounted-for-after-leaders-quietly-jump-ship\">investigation<\/a>&nbsp;found that BLM has had no known leader in charge of its $60 million bankroll since its co-founder resigned in May. California and Washington recently ordered BLM to cease all fundraising activities in their blue states due to the failure of the&nbsp;<a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/black-lives-matter?utm_campaign=autolink&amp;utm_source=internal&amp;utm_medium=autolink\">Black Lives Matter<\/a>&nbsp;Global Network Foundation, the legal entity that represents the national BLM movement, to report information about its finances in 2020, the year it raised tens of millions amid the racial protests and riots that followed George Floyd\u2019s killing.<\/p>\n<p>\u2026<\/p>\n<p>Indiana Attorney General&nbsp;<a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/policy\/courts\/indiana-attorney-general-says-blms-house-of-cards-starting-to-fall-amid-financial-questions\">Todd Rokita<\/a>&nbsp;previously said BLM\u2019s refusal to answer basic questions about its finances and operations fits a common and disturbing pattern.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt appears that the house of cards may be falling, and this happens eventually with nearly every scam, scheme, or illegal enterprise,\u201d Rokita, a Republican, said in an interview with the&nbsp;<i>Washington Examiner<\/i>. \u201cI see patterns that scams kind of universally take: failure to provide board members, failure to provide even executive directors, failure to make your filings available. It all leads to suspicion.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The organization is also failing to comply with regulations in seven other states, the&nbsp;<em>Examiner&nbsp;<\/em>reported.<\/p>\n<p>BLM and similar organizations enjoyed a fundraising bonanza in the wake of the George Floyd protests and riots, with many corporations using their donations to prove their progressive credentials and to fend off criticism from \u201cwoke\u201d employees and social media.<\/p>\n<p><em>Joel B.
