Frost <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/news\/brexit-negotiator-david-frost-quits-uk-govt\/\">resigned<\/a>&nbsp;in December 2021 in opposition to Johnson\u2019s ramped up coronavirus restrictions.<\/p>\n<p>He has since <a href=\"https:\/\/www.telegraph.co.uk\/politics\/2022\/01\/09\/lord-frost-tells-boris-johnson-conservative-face-election-defeat\/\">criticised the government<\/a> for not being conservative in any meaningful way.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Britons Want Referendum on Boris\u2019s Net Zero Green Agenda: Poll <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/w5Moux7S1q\">https:\/\/t.co\/w5Moux7S1q<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Breitbart London (@BreitbartLondon) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/BreitbartLondon\/status\/1453718946297749506?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">October 28, 2021<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>It has been <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/europe\/2020\/11\/17\/delingpole-princess-nut-nut-elbows-bojo-towards-the-great-reset\/\">suspected<\/a> that Johnson\u2019s wife&nbsp;Carrie Johnson&nbsp;n\u00e9e Symonds, an \u201cunelected eco-activist and animal rights campaigner\u201d, is behind much of the government\u2019s new green agenda \u2013 an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.independent.co.uk\/news\/uk\/politics\/boris-johnson-carrie-symonds-bow-group-b1805604.html\">accusation<\/a> Number 10 has repeatedly denied.<\/p>\n<p>Chairman of the <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/bowgroup\">Bow Group<\/a>, Britain\u2019s oldest Conservative Think Tank,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/B_HQ\">Ben Harris-Quinney,<\/a>&nbsp;condemned the Conservative\u2019s new green agenda and said that Johnson\u2019s dwindling popularity is because \u201che isn\u2019t delivering on the patriotic conservative vision for the country people had when they voted Brexit\u201d in remarks to Breitbart London.<\/p>\n<p>Harris-Quinney went as far as to say Johnson is \u201cgoverning to the left of Tony Blair on every major area of policy: a million people a year pouring into the country each year, highest taxes since WW2, Net Zero, and radical LGBT lobby groups like Stonewall funded and championed in Downing Street and at the Conservative Party conference\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>The Bow Group\u2019s Chairman blamed Johnson\u2019s wife Carrie Johnson for Boris\u2019 drop in \u201cpopularity\u201d and suggested that if he does not \u201cremove Carrie from\u201d the political decision-making process then \u201chis premiership will fail for the same reasons Cameron\u2019s and May\u2019s did \u2013 Conservative voters expect conservative results-or else\u201d.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B3\" class=\"a8d adSo\"><\/figure>\n<p>Harris-Quinney did however suggest that Johnson could \u201csurvive\u201d if he \u201csees the light\u201d and \u201cannounces a new raft of conservative policies\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Boris Johnson\u2019s former Chief Advisor Dominic Cummings took a blunter approach in his description of the British Prime Minister and described him as a \u201cbabbling f***wit\u201d who doesn\u2019t \u201chave the balls\u201d to say to his \u201cvery forceful\u201d wife,&nbsp;\u201cListen, I\u2019m prime minister and this is what I\u2019m doing\u201d,&nbsp; during an <a href=\"https:\/\/nymag.com\/intelligencer\/2022\/01\/dominic-cummings-the-man-trying-to-take-down-boris-johnson.html\">interview<\/a> with New York magazine on the 30th of January 2022.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Delingpole: Princess Nut Nut Elbows Bojo Towards the Great Reset <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/bXxUwad3OY\">https:\/\/t.co\/bXxUwad3OY<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Breitbart London (@BreitbartLondon) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/BreitbartLondon\/status\/1328639151823081473?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">November 17, 2020<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Johnson\u2019s Net Zero plan has been met with a frosty reception across the nation in general with&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/europe\/2022\/01\/05\/60-per-cent-of-britons-reject-higher-taxes-to-fulfil-bojos-green-agenda\/\">sixty per cent<\/a>&nbsp;of Brits saying they rejected the idea of paying more taxes to fund the Build Back Better green agenda.<\/p>\n<p>The Conservative\u2019s new \u2018green\u2019 agenda will also disproportionately financially impact&nbsp;\u2018Red Wall\u2019 voters, a large demographic that enabled Johnson to win his 2019 election victory \u2013 some voting Conservative for the first time ever.<\/p>\n<p>Red Wall voters are likely to be one of the hardest hit by Johnson\u2019s Net Zero agenda with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailymail.co.uk\/debate\/article-10366275\/ROSS-CLARK-DOES-green-tax-energy-bill-actually-pay-for.html\">new \u2018green\u2019 taxes<\/a>&nbsp;and subsequent rising energy prices, combined with an increased cost of living likely to put a strain on bank accounts across Britain, which will undoubtedly have an impact on the Conservatives\u2019 support from these voters.<\/p>\n<p>The \u2018Red Wall\u2019 refers to industrial areas of Britain, that were once home to coal mines, steel plants, and manufacturing, largely in the North of England,&nbsp;were where the working-class voters typically supported Labour \u2014 whose traditional colour is red.<\/p>\n<p>The term has some parallels with the&nbsp;so-called \u2018Rust Belt\u2019 in the United States.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Boris Johnson has conceded to the European Union and dropped his post-Brexit regulation cutting plan in favour of a \u2018Net Zero\u2019 agenda.
