We sincerely hope they honor our wishes, as Neil\u2019s labels have done, his. We will do everything possible towards that end and keep you posted,\u201d he wrote.<br \/>India Arie posted her boycott announcement on Instagram. \u201cNeil Young opened a door that I must walk through. I believe in freedom of speech. However, I find Joe Rogan problematic for reasons other than his Covid interviews. For me, it\u2019s also his language around race,\u201d she wrote.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<blockquote class=\"instagram-media\" data-instgrm-captioned=\"\" data-instgrm-permalink=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/CZah4f1OLIJ\/?utm_source=ig_embed&amp;utm_campaign=loading\" data-instgrm-version=\"14\">\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>On Friday, Joni Mitchell&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/entertainment\/2022\/01\/29\/joni-mitchell-joins-protest-over-joe-rogan-spotify-podcast-i-stand-in-solidarity-with-neil-young\/\">announced<\/a> she was seeking to remove all of her music from Spotify in solidarity with Neil Young.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIrresponsible people are spreading lies that are costing people their lives,\u201d Mitchell wrote a message on her website. \u201cI stand in solidarity with Neil Young and the global scientific and medical communities on this issue.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>On Sunday, Rogan <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2022\/01\/30\/watch-joe-rogan-responds-spotify-content-advisories-vows-balance-opposing-viewpoints\/\">responded<\/a> to the growing controversy, saying in a video message that \u201cmany of the things that we thought of as \u2018misinformation\u2019 just a short while ago are now accepted as fact.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He also pledged to add more \u201cbalance\u201d to \u201ccontroversial viewpoints\u201d presented on \u201cThe Joe Rogan Experience.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Follow David <\/em><\/strong><strong><em>Ng on Twitter&nbsp;<a class=\"x5l\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/HeyItsDavidNg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener external\">@HeyItsDavidNg<\/a>.
