Version: 4.0.47--><p>Abortion activist Jex Blackmore took an abortion pill on live television \u2014 then boasted that the move constituted her third abortion.<\/p>\n<p>During a recent <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=Si_EU73j904\">segment<\/a> of WJBK FOX 2 Detroit\u2019s \u201cLet It Rip,\u201d Blackmore \u2014 who uses \u201cthey\/them\u201d pronouns \u2014 discussed the issue of abortion pills with host Charlie Langton and pro-life attorney Rebecca Kiessling.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI want to show you how easy it is, and how safe it is, by taking it myself,\u201d Blackmore said before taking a mifepristone pill \u2014 which, alongside another substance called misoprostol, is used by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/nearly-5-million-american-women-have-used-abortion-pills-since-2000\">millions<\/a> of Americans to murder babies in the earlier stages of gestation.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAre you \u2026 you\u2019re not pregnant, are you?\u201d Langton asked. \u201cI would say that this is going to end a pregnancy,\u201d Blackmore replied. \u201cThis would be my third abortion.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Blackmore told <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nbcnews.com\/news\/us-news\/activist-jex-blackmore-took-abortion-pill-live-tv-moment-went-viral-rcna13851?__FB_PRIVATE_TRACKING__=%7B%22loggedout_browser_id%22%3A%22bb46c62f07407c82ec79e57067f492ff7afc605d%22%7D&amp;fbclid=IwAR07YprmXlyK-Q7CLmLEapwSk5SW953obOrEnZWNtBbX5rX_q3OXB0LVGaY\">NBC News<\/a> that she was, in fact, pregnant.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhen I was invited onto \u2018Let It Rip\u2019 to discuss the availability of mail-order abortion pills, I thought that it would be an opportunity to demonstrate the ease and effectiveness of the medication, and it happened at the right time for me personally,\u201d Blackmore told the outlet in an email. \u201cTaking the medication on live TV, especially a Fox affiliate, allowed the message to reach folks who normally would not be exposed to information about a medical mail order abortion.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Langton noted the \u201ccallousness\u201d of Blackmore\u2019s actions in her comments to NBC News.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWith abortion, a preborn baby does not just magically vanish into thin air by merely swallowing a pill, as some may think,\u201d Langton explained in an email. \u201cJex\u2019s actions are extremely deceiving and make me think of someone pushing a button for a drone strike \u2014 it would appear easy enough, but in reality most people understand the carnage which will ensue and should be outraged at the tragic loss of life and the callousness with which it was done.\u201d&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Indeed, Blackmore\u2019s callousness is increasingly seen in state and federal policymakers willing to protect abortion by statute.<\/p>\n<p>New Jersey\u2019s \u201cFreedom of Reproductive Choice Act\u201d \u2014 which overwhelmingly <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/new-jersey-to-legalize-all-abortions-guarantee-reproductive-autonomy\">passed<\/a> in the state\u2019s legislature \u2014 codifies \u201cthe constitutional right, which has been recognized by the New Jersey Supreme Court, to freedom of reproductive choice, including the right to access contraception, to terminate a pregnancy, and to carry a pregnancy to term.\u201d It nullifies \u201cany law, rule, regulation, ordinance, or order that has the effect of abridging the constitutional right to freedom of reproductive choice.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/fda-to-make-abortion-pills-available-through-the-mail\">removed<\/a> the requirement that the abortion pill \u201cbe dispensed only in certain healthcare settings, specifically clinics, medical offices, and hospitals.\u201d The new development will allow the abortion pill to be sent via mail \u2014 and potentially acquired online.<\/p>\n<p>In a recent interview with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/how-an-mlb-pitcher-and-gun-rights-lobbyist-are-teaming-up-to-abolish-abortion-one-state-at-a-time\">The Daily Wire<\/a>, Dennis Sarfate and Zach Lautenschlager \u2014 who lead <a href=\"https:\/\/www.takeactionforlife.org\/\">Action for Life<\/a>, the legislative arm of the Christian ministry <a href=\"https:\/\/endabortionnow.com\/\">End Abortion Now<\/a> \u2014 explained that abortion is the murder of an image-bearer of God, meaning that lawmakers must ensure equal protection under the law for preborn babies.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLife starts at conception \u2014 that is a baby,\u201d Sarfate, a former MLB pitcher, stated. \u201cThat is a human being worthy of respect and worthy of protection. God even calls it murder.
