Earlier today, the white protesters taking part in the trucker protest in Ottawa parked their vehicles on the cenotaph at the National War Memorial. He added that the claim of stealing food from the homeless arose from an incident in which a protester had asked to be fed at a soup kitchen.<\/p>\n<p>Trudeau also appeared to refer to claims that truckers flew swastika flags, including one flown from an expensive hotel at some distance from the protest:<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">The Chateau Laurier is Ottawa\u2019s most expensive hotel. It\u2019s also an establishment political hang-out \u2014 there are always cabinet ministers and lobbyists in the hotel bar. There is simply zero chance that a trucker would stay there. This is so obviously a false flag hoax. <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/vGuSoUbVek\">https:\/\/t.co\/vGuSoUbVek<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Ezra Levant \ud83c\udf41 (@ezralevant) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/ezralevant\/status\/1487821957693333511?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">January 30, 2022<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Levant said that one protester drew a swastika on a Canadian flag \u2014 not to endorse the swastika, but as a commentary on Trudeau\u2019s \u201cfascist\u201d mandates, one with which Levant said he did not agree, but which was not intended as a racist statement.<\/p>\n<p>Another man showed up wearing a Confederate flag, Levant said, but had his face covered and was told by others to leave.<\/p>\n<p>Trudeau\u2019s claims were \u201ccomplete B.S.,\u201d Levant said, and an attempt to discredit legitimate protest.<\/p>\n<p><em>Joel B.
