Of the prior counts, 453 were felonies, and 455 were misdemeanors.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<p>Throughout the investigation, the PCSO seized fourteen guns \u2013 two of which were reported stolen \u2013 and took a number of illicit drugs off the street, including:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u2022 Approximately 280 grams of methamphetamine purchased (street value: approximately $14,000)<br \/>\u2022 Approximately 3 grams of cocaine purchased<br \/>\u2022 Approximately 113 grams (130 pills) of Ecstasy<br \/>\u2022 Approximately 1.5 grams of Fentanyl\/heroin<br \/>\u2022 Approximately 1 gram of LSD<br \/>\u2022 Approximately 28 grams of psychedelic mushrooms<br \/>\u2022 Approximately 645 grams of marijuana<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The investigation began in July 2021 after the Heartland Crime Stoppers received a \u201ctip indicating that people were openly selling drugs on the well-known dating app Grindr,\u201d according to the release.<\/p>\n<p>Sheriff Grady Judd stated in part:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><span>We\u2019ve known for some time that suspects will use the Internet and social media to prey upon children online, or to engage in prostitution, but this is something we are seeing more and more of in Polk County \u2013 suspects who are using dating apps to sell illegal narcotics. Suspects are getting more creative, but so are our detectives.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><span>He noted his office is working with the companies to raise awareness regarding drug transactions and the PCSO has asked for their cooperation during investigations.<\/span><\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B3\" class=\"a8d adSo\"><\/figure>\n<p><span>During a press conference on Thursday, Judd <a href=\"https:\/\/cbs12.com\/news\/local\/thats-a-lot-of-dopers-in-one-house-60-people-arrested-in-florida-narcotics-sweep\">honed<\/a> in on one suspect named Gator Kleizo, 56. He allegedly sold drugs to the PCSO four times, one of which was a trafficking amount of methamphetamine.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span> \u201cHe\u2019s been arrested for everything from possession of drugs to kidnapping and robbery,\u201d Judd said. He has been charged with 26 felonies in the past and 12 misdemeanors.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cHe looks like he\u2019s 156, but he\u2019s only 56. We served a search warrant at his house, and we arrested 13 people there,\u201d Judd said.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Kleizo is charged with:<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u2022 Trafficking in meth (F1)<br \/>\u2022 Sale of meth (F2)<br \/>\u2022 Possession of meth WITS (F2)<br \/>\u2022 Use of two-way communication device to commit felony (F3)<br \/>\u2022 Possession of paraphernalia (M1)<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><span>\u201cHe\u2019s been to prison five times, okay,\u201d he went on to add. \u201cSo for all you do-gooders that think we lock people and they didn\u2019t mean it, this guy\u2019s had five trips to prison along with his 26 previous felony charges.
