Moreover, the deck and superstructure of the bridge were rated at four out of nine, while the substructure scored a six.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">President Joe Biden had been slated to attend an event in Pittsburgh on Friday, prior to the bridge\u2019s collapse, and stopped at the disaster site to highlight the importance of infrastructure, Breitbart News <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2022\/01\/28\/man-welcomes-joe-biden-with-lets-go-brandon-chants-during-pittsburgh-visit\/\">reported<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">While heading to the bridge, Biden\u2019s motorcade passed a man who yelled, \u201cLet\u2019s go, Brandon!\u201d as another person held a sign reading, \u201cBiden is not my president.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">Biden toured the wreckage and thanked first responders for their efforts.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019ve been coming to Pittsburgh a long time,\u201d he said and claimed Pittsburgh had the most bridges of any city in the world.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnd we\u2019re going to fix them all,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Pittsburgh bridge that collapsed early Friday was in poor condition, and the state did not allocate federal infrastructure funds for its improvement, according to a report.
