We reassigned her to cover progressives in Congress, the progressive movement, and Vice President Kamala Harris. Alexi is a valued member of the Axios team, and we stand behind her and her coverage,\u201d an Axios spokesperson told <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/media\/axios-reporter-relationship-biden-staffer-ducklo-ethics-concerns-kamala-harris\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Fox News<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"article-extras trending\"><strong>TRENDING:<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thegatewaypundit.com\/2021\/02\/shouldnt-followed-shouldnt-listened-nikki-haley-slams-trump-supporters\/\" data-type=\"Internal link\" data-type-location=\"in-content-trending\">&#8220;We Shouldn&#8217;t Have Followed Him &#8211; We Shouldn&#8217;t Have Listened to Him&#8221; &#8211; Nikki Haley Slams Trump and His Supporters<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Ducklo became angry when he found out that Politico reporter Jennifer Palmieri was pursuing the story and he threatened to \u201cdestroy\u201d her and \u201cruin her reputation\u201d in a series of phone calls.<\/p>\n<p>TJ Ducklo made vulgar and misogynistic comments to Palmieri and accused her of being \u201cjealous\u201d of his relationship with McCammond.<\/p>\n<p>Vanity Fair <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vanityfair.com\/news\/2021\/02\/i-will-destroy-you-biden-aide-threatened-a-politico-reporter-pursuing-a-story-on-his-relationship\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">reported<\/a> (emphasis our own):<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p class=\"has-dropcap\">[Behind] the scenes, Ducklo had previously lashed out at Politico reporter <strong>Tara Palmeri,<\/strong>\u00a0who was reporting the story, exhibiting behavior that led to tense meetings between the Washington news outlet\u2019s editors and senior White House officials.<\/p>\n<p>The confrontation began on Inauguration Day, January 20, after Palmeri, a coauthor of Politico\u2019s Playbook, contacted McCammond for comment while one of her male colleagues left a message for Ducklo, according to sources. Ducklo subsequently called a Playbook editor to object to the story, but was told to call the Playbook reporters with his concerns. But instead of calling the male reporter who initially contacted him, <strong>Ducklo tried to intimidate Palmeri by phone in an effort to kill the story. \u201cI will destroy you,\u201d Ducklo told her, according to sources, adding that he would ruin her reputation if she published it.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>During the off-the-record call, <strong>Ducklo made derogatory and misogynistic comments, accusing Palmeri of only reporting on his relationship\u2014which, due to the ethics questions that factor into the relationship between a journalist and White House official, falls under the purview of her reporting beat\u2014because she was \u201cjealous\u201d that an unidentified man in the past had \u201cwanted to fuck\u201d McCammond \u201cand not you.\u201d<\/strong> Ducklo also accused Palmeri of being \u201cjealous\u201d of his relationship with McCammond.
