This is not safe. This is not healthy. This is not love. I understand the world is in fear, but I don\u2019t believe that answering fear with force will fix our problems,\u201d Evangeline wrote, after confirming she \u201cwas in DC this weekend to support bodily sovereignty,\u201d which is how anti-vax advocates describe opposition to COVID vaccination mandates.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>While the actress\u2019 Instagram post is displayed in the piece, the caption isn\u2019t shown on mobile, where, according to a 2019 Pew Research survey, a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pewresearch.org\/fact-tank\/2019\/11\/19\/americans-favor-mobile-devices-over-desktops-and-laptops-for-getting-news\/\">majority<\/a> of Americans get their news.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAmericans continue to be more likely to get news through mobile devices than through desktop or laptop computers. Roughly six-in-ten U.S. adults (57%) often get news this way, compared with 30% who often do so on a desktop or laptop computer, according to a Pew Research Center survey,\u201d Pew states.<\/p>\n<p>The following is what Lilly write prior to what Buzzfeed quoted:<\/p>\n<p><em>I was in DC this weekend to support bodily sovereignty while Canadian truckers were rallying for their cross-country, peaceful convoy in support of the same thing.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>I believe nobody should ever be forced to inject their body with anything, against their will, under threat of:<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>-violent attack<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>-arrest or detention without trial<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>-loss of employment<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>-homelessness<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>-starvation<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>-loss of education<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>-alienation from loved ones<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>-excommunication from society<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u2026under any threat whatsoever.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Many of the comments below the Buzzfeed piece condemned Lilly.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSo her answer to fear is to kill my parents. Got it,\u201d one commenter wrote.<\/p>\n<p>Another simply called Lilly a \u201cc***.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Others slammed Buzzfeed for publishing such a misleading piece. \u201cThis article is dishonest and irresponsible propaganda. We should be able to have an honest debate without lying about people\u2019s opinions,\u201d wrote one person.<\/p>\n<p>When another commenter noted the difference between Lilly\u2019s position of being anti-mandate versus the article\u2019s seeming assertion that the actress is anti-vaccine, several others dug in.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhen people are dying there is no f***ing choice. Get the F***ING vaccine and wear your F***ING masks so this s*** can be over,\u201d replied one.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSorry, she\u2019s still a killer,\u201d said another.<\/p>\n<p>As of publication, neither Marvel nor Disney have offered official comment on Lilly\u2019s Instagram post.
