<a href=\"http:\/\/t.co\/2Eed5dlySF\">pic.twitter.com\/2Eed5dlySF<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 John Griffin (@JGriffNYC) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/JGriffNYC\/status\/647879860522733568?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">September 26, 2015<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Griffin and his wife reportedly <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/crime\/2021\/12\/17\/report-cnn-producer-interacted-children-during-investigation-sex-abuse-allegations\/\">separated<\/a> in 2020 but had apparently been working on their marriage.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAllyson, like everyone else, was stunned and horrified to hear about the charges against her estranged husband, and her heart absolutely breaks for any potential victim in this case,\u201d the woman\u2019s attorney, Jon Whitcomb, explained to the <em>Post<\/em>.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B3\" class=\"a8d adSo\"><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cShe had absolutely no knowledge of any alleged wrongdoings. The couple has been separated for nearly two years, and Allyson has now filed for divorce. She remains focused on raising her children and serving her community,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p>John Griffin faces ten years to a life sentence behind bars if he is convicted in the case.<\/p>\n<p>CNN quickly fired Griffin and described the allegations as \u201cdeeply disturbing.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In December, CNN was <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/entertainment\/2021\/12\/30\/sex-scandals-sinking-ratings-cnn-imploding-on-eve-of-streaming-launch\/\">betting<\/a> on its digital streaming service CNN+ set to debut early this year, however, several internal scandals threatened to take the spotlight prior to its reveal, Breitbart News reported.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cRick Saleeby, who was a senior producer for CNN\u2019s <em>The Lead with Jake Tapper<\/em>, is under criminal investigation following a Project Veritas investigation alleging Saleeby solicited sexually explicit photos of an underage girl,\u201d the outlet said.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The wife of John Griffin, a former CNN producer facing several charges of sex-trafficking minors, has reportedly filed for divorce.
