Newest Political Crush Is \u2018Privileged&#8217; Harvard Grad Who Pointed Gun at Unarmed Black Man<\/strong><\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<p>The Lincoln Project, which has&nbsp;been <a href=\"https:\/\/freebeacon.com\/politics\/rick-wilson-threatens-critics-in-exclusive-straw-man-defense-of-embattled-lincoln-project\/\">on the defensive<\/a> since mid-January, when cofounder John Weaver was revealed to have engaged in inappropriate sexual behavior with numerous young men, was apparently trying to preempt a forthcoming article by Amanda Becker of <em>19th News<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"css-901oao css-16my406 r-poiln3 r-bcqeeo r-qvutc0\">&#8220;Earlier this evening, we became aware that<\/span> <span class=\"r-18u37iz\"><span class=\"css-901oao css-16my406 r-poiln3 r-bcqeeo r-qvutc0\" dir=\"ltr\">@AmandaBecker<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"css-901oao css-16my406 r-poiln3 r-bcqeeo r-qvutc0\">of<\/span> <span class=\"r-18u37iz\"><span class=\"css-901oao css-16my406 r-poiln3 r-bcqeeo r-qvutc0\" dir=\"ltr\">@19thnews<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"css-901oao css-16my406 r-poiln3 r-bcqeeo r-qvutc0\">was preparing to publish a smear job on the Lincoln Project with the help of<\/span> <span class=\"r-18u37iz\"><span class=\"css-901oao css-16my406 r-poiln3 r-bcqeeo r-qvutc0\" dir=\"ltr\">@NHJennifer,&#8221; the Lincoln Project tweeted. &#8220;<\/span><\/span><span class=\"css-901oao css-16my406 r-poiln3 r-bcqeeo r-qvutc0\">You hear a lot of talk about hit-jobs in journalism, but rarely do you get to see their origin story. Enjoy.&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p>What followed were a series of photos of private Twitter messages exchanged between Becker and Horn regarding the Lincoln Project&#8217;s shady finances.
