The company reported sales for every product category \u2014 aside from the iPad \u2014 beating expectations. It\u2019s weathered the pandemic extremely well.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<p>Apple noted on Thursday that it has 1.8 billion devices on the Apple network, this includes Apple products such as iPhones, iPads, Mac, Apple Watches, and the company\u2019s HomePod home assistant speaker.&nbsp;\u201cThat\u2019s an astonishing install base, which gives them tremendous momentum,\u201d Wood said, noting that this number will likely climb past 2 billion before the end of 2022.<\/p>\n<p>In an interview with CNBC on Thursday, Apple CEO Tim Cook did acknowledge that rising inflation is putting pressure on the company, stating:&nbsp;\u201cWe try to price our products for the value that we deliver and we are seeing inflationary pressure. I think everybody\u2019s seeing inflationary pressure. There\u2019s no two ways about that.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>On an earnings call, Cook went into more detail on the effect of inflation on Apple\u2019s business, noting that shipping costs had increased.&nbsp;\u201cWe\u2019re seeing inflation and it\u2019s factored into our gross margin and opex [operating expenses] that [Apple CFO] Luca [Maestri] reviewed with you earlier,\u201d Cook said. \u201cLogistics, as I\u2019ve mentioned on a previous call, is very elevated in terms of the cost of moving things around.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Cook added that he hoped the currently increased costs would be temporary, stating:&nbsp;\u201cI would hope that at least a portion of that is transitory, but the world has changed and we\u2019ll see.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Read more at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/2022\/01\/28\/apple-is-like-a-freight-train-at-the-moment-tech-analyst-says.html\">CNBC here.<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong><i>Lucas Nolan is a reporter for Breitbart News covering issues of free speech and online censorship.
