After his first phone call with Chinese President Xi Jinping Wednesday night, Biden raised concerns about Beijing while speaking with reporters on Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf we don\u2019t get moving they\u2019re going to eat our lunch,\u201d Biden stated.<\/p>\n<p>He said China is \u201cinvesting billions\u201d on issues that relate to transportation and the environment and \u201cwe just have to step it up.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>However, Biden struck a very different tone back in May of 2019 while campaigning for president.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cChina is going to eat our lunch?
