The \u201cLost\u201d alum shared photos from the event with her 2 million followers on Instagram.<\/p>\n<p>The caption read in part, \u201cI believe nobody should ever be forced to inject their body with anything, against their will\u2026 under any threat whatsoever. This is not the way.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Canadian actress wrote, \u201cThis is not safe. This is not healthy. This is not love. I understand the world is in fear, but I don\u2019t believe that answering fear with force will fix our problems.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>It didn\u2019t take long for the backlash against Lilly to start. Twitter users expressed their desire to see the Marvel alum canceled and removed from any future projects with the studio.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cRecast. Immediate,\u201d one person <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/pramitheus\/status\/1486749977149784066\">tweeted<\/a>. \u201cThey shoulda recast Letitia Wright. They should recast Evangeline Lilly. Ain\u2019t nothing THAT special about em. However, it\u2019s all but guaranteed that this saga is far from over.<\/p>\n<p>Lilly\u2019s 2020 Instagram post dealt with \u201cfreedom\u201d during the pandemic.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI have two young kids,\u201d the actress shared on Instagram. \u201cSome people value their lives over freedom, some people value freedom over their lives. We all make our choices.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>But after Hollywood celebrities and fans came after her, Lilly issued an apology for her \u201cinsensitivity.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI never meant to hurt you,\u201d the \u201cAnt-Man\u201d star wrote in a lengthy Instagram <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/B-NdXq2A5SG\/\">post<\/a>.&nbsp;\u201cWhen I wrote that post 10 days ago, I thought I was infusing calm into the hysteria. I can see now that I was projecting my own fears into an already fearful and traumatic situation. I am grieved by the ongoing loss of life, and the impossible decisions medical workers around the world must make as they treat those affected.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The actress\u2019 apology at the time seemed to be enough, but with mounting tensions regarding the vaccine mandates, this latest move could have more dire consequences for Lilly.
