No one understood that,\u201d he added. \u201cIt was Trump and Putin together combining forces that drove the Islamic State (ISIS) out of the Middle East initially.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>While \u201cwe worked with Russia,\u201d Savage continued, \u201c[former President Barack] Obama dragged his heels and let ISIS grow into a cancer that almost took over the Middle East.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cSo why are we attacking our one natural ally against radical Islam which is Russia?\u201d he asked. \u201cMaybe Obama, who is soft on Islamism, is pulling the strings all over again.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>However, if Biden were to declare war, he cautioned, there may be a dire economic impact on our society and the world.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cHow can we even afford this?\u201d he asked. \u201cWith the pandemic, we\u2019re already at a breaking point.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B3\" class=\"a8d adSo\"><\/figure>\n<p><span>He also called attention to Biden\u2019s poor leadership manifest during the chaotic and deadly withdrawal from Afghanistan in August.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cLet\u2019s not forget that this \u2018commander-in-grief\u2019 abruptly withdrew from Afghanistan, left behind billions of dollars in advanced equipment, [and] left men and women behind who were slaughtered as a rape epidemic spreads across the area,\u201d he said.<\/span><\/p>\n<figure id=\"D-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<p><span>\u201cIsn\u2019t that odd [that] the same man who pulled out abruptly from Afghanistan now wants to go in abruptly?\u201d he asked. \u201cIt sounds crazy to me.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>History Repeats Itself<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span>Warning how major conflicts have arisen over trivial and unintended matters, Savage highlighted how \u201cpeople don\u2019t realize that World War I actually happened by accident.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B4\" class=\"a8d adSo\"><\/figure>\n<p><span>\u201cThere was one egomaniac in one country facing off against an egomaniac running the other country and then it escalated,\u201d he said. \u201cThere was no reason for World War I.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cNow we have almost a similar situation, of course it\u2019s different, but a similar accidental war may be about to happen,\u201d he cautioned.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Claiming to be \u201cvery cynical\u201d over the matter, Savage urged looking to past events.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cIt\u2019s terrible and we\u2019ve got to go back to the Cuban Missile Crisis because we know that [President John F.] Kennedy got [Soviet leader Nikita] Khrushchev to withdraw the offensive weapons in Cuba and return them to the Soviet Union, and Kennedy took a big bow for that one,\u201d he said.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cBut what people do not know is that it\u2019s identical to what\u2019s going on now because secretly the United States agreed that it would dismantle and remove all of the Jupiter medium-range ballistic missiles which had been deployed in Turkey pointed at the Soviet Union,\u201d he continued. \u201cSo Kennedy looks like he was a big hero, but Khrushchev said, \u2018Take the missiles out.\u2019\u201d&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cSo why can\u2019t Biden understand that he\u2019s got to not put missiles in, that\u2019s all,\u201d he added. \u201cIsn\u2019t that all that Putin is doing?\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Stating that \u201cRussia does not want missiles pointed at them,\u201d Savage imagined a scenario whereby the Mexican president brought missiles into Mexico and pointed them at the US.\u201d&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cWhat the hell do you think we would do?\u201d he asked, noting that Ukraine is \u201cattached to Russia,\u201d and was \u201cpart of the Soviet Union.\u201d&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cIt\u2019s not a landmass 1000 miles away,\u201d he added.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Suggesting \u201cit\u2019s the Obama-ites who are thirsting for war again,\u201d Savage recalled \u201cwhen Obama was president and Biden was vice president, Russia took a large peninsula [from Ukraine] without a shot being fired.\u201d&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cDoes anyone remember that one?\u201d he asked. \u201cHe took Crimea, which had been part of Russia since at least the 1500s or 1600s.\u201d&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201c[Putin] said it was part of our natural land,\u201d he added. \u201cHe\u2019s doing the same with Ukraine.\u201d&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Stating that Ukraine \u201chas a very spotty history as a nation\u201d and how there is much \u201coverlap\u201d between its eastern and western parts, with most residents \u201cspeaking both Russian and Ukrainian,\u201d Savage noted a \u201cdangerous element\u201d as well.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cI\u2019m not naive,\u201d he said. \u201cHitler used the same exact excuse when he took German-speaking areas of Czechoslovakia, for example, and he said he\u2019s just restoring the land that was taken from him.\u201d&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cIt\u2019s the same exact story,\u201d he added.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Wagging the Dog<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span>Addressing President Biden and the Democrats\u2019 sudden concerns over the sovereignty of nations and territorial integrity of borders while neglecting America\u2019s own borders, Savage referenced a recent <\/span><i><span>Spectator<\/span><\/i> <a href=\"https:\/\/spectator.org\/biden-needs-a-war-dont-give-him-one\/\"><span>essay<\/span><\/a><span> describing the \u201cwag the dog\u201d scenario that \u201clooms larger as the Biden vortex deepens\u201d while pleading not to give Biden the war he \u201cneeds.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cAnyone who has seen politics at work knows what happens when someone gets in trouble in the highest office,\u201d Savage said. \u201c[President] Clinton used Kosovo, [President] Bush used Iraq, [President] Obama used Libya, and so on.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cBiden\u2019s in a hole so he\u2019s gotta go to war,\u201d he added.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Calling a potential war \u201ca good choice for Biden and his sick mind,\u201d Savage ripped \u201cthe fools around him,\u201d adding that in wartime, citizens \u201ctend to stop criticizing the commander-in-chief politically and, instead, rally around [him].\u201d&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cIt\u2019s a good way to shut up dissidents, isn\u2019t it?\u201d he said.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Savage then elaborated on factors concerning the country\u2019s current state that could prompt the Biden administration to create distractions.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cWe have inflation at a four-year high, supply chain problems, store shelves are empty, vax mandates which nobody liked or wanted, one problem after another and Joe is blaming everybody but his own administration,\u201d he said. \u201cSo what\u2019s a better way to get out of a tough situation? You go to war with Russia.\u201d&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cSo what is left for him to do?\u201d he asked. \u201cThey could try to do go to war.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Noting that \u201cObiden\u2019 is in trouble politically,\u201d Savage argued that the president is clearly \u201cunstable.\u201d&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cHe couldn\u2019t kill the filibuster to push illegal voting,\u201d he said in reference to the voting rights bill which \u201cwould have eliminated voter ID \u2014 which four-fifths of the American people supported \u2014 and institutionalized ballot harvesting and allowed illegals to vote.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cHe was stopped by two people,\u201d he added. \u201cSo what\u2019s he doing now?\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>With \u201cnothing left\u201d for Biden to do, Savage warned of \u201dwag the dog media optics.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Savage then slammed the notion of one man pulling the entire nation into an international conflict.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cWhere is the War Powers Act?\u201d he asked. \u201cIt used to be an act; Congress had to vote on committing troops to war.\u201d&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cWhen did that change where we had a dictatorship emerge in front of our eyes?\u201d he continued. \u201cI don\u2019t remember when it changed, where suddenly a president could make that decision unilaterally.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>He also argued that there was no national interest for the U.S. to enter the foreign spat.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cThere\u2019s no reason,\u201d he said. \u201cIt has zero national interest for us. It\u2019s a no-brainer.\u201d&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>He then highlighted the \u201cinsanity\u201d of the Biden administration showing more concern over the matter than other neighboring countries.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cWhere is our national interest in this dispute? Nowhere,\u201d he added. \u201cIt\u2019s Europe\u2019s problem. Let them solve it.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>He also noted that Germany, the most powerful European nation, who partnered with Russia in the Nord Stream pipeline project to ship natural gas under the Baltic Sea, seemed less interested in a conflict with the largest country in the world.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201c[Germany] would rather sit it out and not provoke Putin,\u201d he said, \u201cbecause if Putin cuts off the gas supply, Europe will freeze to death in the winter and we\u2019re in the winter right now and the Germans will have to burn their mahogany furniture that their grandmothers left them.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cThe fact is Germany\u2019s foreign minister said, \u2018We\u2019re not going to help Ukraine,\u2019\u201d he added.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>As a result, Savage pondered how heavy equipment would arrive there given that Germany is refusing to aid the endeavor.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cGermany said, \u2018No, you can\u2019t move heavy equipment through us, we\u2019re not letting you do it. We don\u2019t want it,\u2019\u201d he said. \u201cThey don\u2019t want an escalation there.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cIf Russia was threatening Europe so badly with this Ukraine situation, wouldn\u2019t you think it\u2019s the business of Germany and France and Britain to stop Putin, not us?\u201d he added.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Asked about a possible impact on the Beijing-Taipei divide and its potential affects on the economy, Savage was unmoved.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cSo we have to show we\u2019re tough there to prevent China from taking Taiwan?\u201d he asked.<\/span><b>&nbsp;<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201c[It\u2019s a] little too late for that,\u201d he said.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>America Run by \u201cFools Who Hate This Country\u201d&nbsp;<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span>Today, Savage warned, the current presidency and state of the nation\u2019s border are far greater threat to the country\u2019s national security than Ukraine.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cWe\u2019re at the beginning of something terrible with this incompetent, sickly old man surrounded by fools who hate this country,\u201d he explained. \u201cOur greatest national security threat right now is what [DHS Secretary Alejandro] Mayorkas has done to our border.\u201d&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cHe\u2019s flooded America with a million illegal aliens, maybe more, many of whom were infected with COVID and tuberculosis and other diseases,\u201d he continued, adding that he believes national security includes keeping out diseases. \u201cIt\u2019s actually a war crime.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Claiming he was \u201cterrified that stupid people are running this government\u201d because of \u201cwhat they\u2019ve done to our border,\u201d Savage expressed his amazement over the DHS Secretary\u2019s continued actions that harm the country.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cMayorkas is a criminal,\u201d he said. \u201cI\u2019ve never seen anything like this.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cWhere did this guy come from?\u201d he asked. \u201cAnd how does he get away with flooding us with illegal aliens on a daily basis?\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Mayorkas was not the only Biden official he blamed for his weakened optimism.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cSo there is an outside chance that Putin, who is known to want to restore the Soviet Union to its glory days, needs to be constrained, there\u2019s no question, but war is not the answer,\u201d he said. \u201cThis is a question for diplomacy, for topflight diplomats \u2014 not these college jerkoffs that work for Biden.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cHave you seen these people and their conversations? Their faces?\u201d he asked. \u201cHow empty, how vacuous they sound and look? I\u2019m not optimistic at all.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Savage called for a personality the likes of former Secretary of State Henry Kissinger to help deter conflict.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cYou need a guy like Kissinger to step in and make peace here, not war,\u201d he said, \u201cand we don\u2019t have a Kissinger.\u201d&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cWho\u2019s our ambassador doing the work? Who\u2019s our Secretary of Hate? Blinken?!\u201d he exclaimed.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Describing the president as having become \u201cmore unstable\u201d and \u201cmore dangerous\u201d with time, Savage stressed the gravity of his ongoing \u201cfloundering.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cWe have an unstable and dangerous lunatic who really belongs in an old age home where he can get the care he needs, the blanket, the warm pillow, some ice cream and ice, reruns of Hee-Haw, whatever he likes,\u201d he said. \u201cJust a nice quiet time in an old age home.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cThis is not a laughing matter; I don\u2019t rejoice at his floundering,\u201d he added. \u201cThe man clearly is exhibiting precise presenile dementia.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Suggesting the president may also suffer from the sometimes-disabling disorder tardive dyskinesia, Savage warned that such a commander-in-chief \u201cshould not be in that White House.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cIf we have an idiot in the White House who\u2019s presenile and surrounded by hateful sorority boys, there\u2019s no advice you can give them,\u201d he said. \u201cThey should remove him for the safety of the nation and the world.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Claiming \u201cthe man\u2019s suffering,\u201d Savage concluded that \u201che\u2019s [obviously] not running anything.\u201d&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201c[Perhaps] Obama is pulling the strings,\u201d he suggested.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>\u201cWhere\u2019s the Opposition?\u201d<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span>Arguing that a majority of Americans \u201cboth left and right\u201d do not want another war, Savage expressed bewilderment over the lack of political opposition.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>\u201c<\/b><span>I don\u2019t know anyone on the right \u2014 other than warmongers who are gonna profiteer from it \u2014 who are anxious to jump out of an airplane and go kill Russians in Ukraine,\u201d he said. \u201cWhere\u2019s the opposition? Have you heard one major politician say \u2018no war\u2019?\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cWe\u2019ve already sent, I think, $650 million in equipment to Ukraine, so someone\u2019s made a fortune on that already. It\u2019s similar to [President] Clinton and Yugoslavia, and I see no party standing up to this,\u201d he added, asking, \u201cWhere are all the other so-called conservatives?\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>He then blasted Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY), accusing him of seeking war for his own personal benefit.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201c[McConnell] wants war, he came out in favor of it,\u201d he said, \u201cand remember his wife\u2019s in the shipping business, so they\u2019re going to make a lot of money moving the men and material around.\u201d&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Without a meaningful opposition, Savage opined, the people are \u201cstuck.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cWhen you have no opposition party other than greedy warmongers and stupid people looking to cash in on it whichever way the wind blows, we the people are stuck,\u201d he lamented, before mocking the idea that mere letters to Congresspeople was sufficient to change course.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cI think I\u2019m gonna write an email to [House Speaker] Nancy Pelosi today and say I\u2019m against war in Ukraine, I think that\u2019ll go over well,\u201d he joked. \u201cMaybe I\u2019ll even send an email to the <\/span><i><span>San Francisco Chronicle<\/span><\/i><span>, maybe they\u2019ll pay attention.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>America First Approach<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span>Savage then offered his own advice on how the US should go about current Russia-Ukraine tensions.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cIt\u2019s very simple to stop this,\u201d he said. \u201cPutin has said, \u2018Do not let Ukraine into NATO [and] do not deploy missiles in Ukraine, and I will not invade,\u2019 and he\u2019s on record saying that.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cSo what Biden should do to avoid war, in my opinion, is simply say, \u2018OK, we don\u2019t want war, Ukraine will not be put in NATO, and we will not point missiles at you, but if you move troops at all into Ukraine after we say that, we will send troops and more weapons,\u2019\u201d he added. \u201cAnd that\u2019s the end of the game for the moment.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Reiterating that \u201cthere\u2019s zero American national interest in Ukraine,\u201d he then explained what <\/span><i><span>not <\/span><\/i><span>to do.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cYou don\u2019t abruptly say, \u2018Let\u2019s take out the diplomats and let\u2019s bang the war drums and show we\u2019re tough,\u2019\u201d he said. \u201cThat\u2019s the mark of a weak leader who\u2019s not thinking.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cIt\u2019s funny that we actually have to educate the so-called conservatives, the so-called right about this,\u201d he added. \u201cThey don\u2019t understand what this is?<\/span> <span>It really isn\u2019t that complex.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Asked about former President Donald Trump\u2019s standing on the issue, Savage praised the former president for his peace achievements.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cLook, I\u2019m a practical guy and I\u2019m a man of peace and I loved Trump because I said he was a man of peace, not a man of war,\u201d Savage said. \u201cHe brought peace to the Middle East.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Claiming he was surprised the former president had yet to take a strong position against \u201cthis insanity,\u201d Savage said: \u201cDon\u2019t tell me he\u2019s in favor of war.
