Konen also claimed that, without her knowledge, school officials then created a \u201cgender support plan\u201d for her daughter.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"D-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"gmxrevmore\" class=\"H\"><\/figure>\n<p>Harmeet Dhillon, founder and CEO of the Center for American Liberty, filed the case on behalf of Konen.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cParents are supposed to have access to all the educational records of their children,\u201d Dhillon <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailymail.co.uk\/news\/article-10428993\/Mother-teachers-manipulated-child-change-gender-identity.html\">told<\/a> DailyMail.com. \u201cThe concept that the schools have a right to be running secret, don\u2019t-tell-your-parents clubs and don\u2019t-tell-your-parents programs and actively coaching children how to mutilate themselves, which is you know, not growing your breasts, is certainly not consistent with California law.\u201d<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">The \u2066<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/AP?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@AP<\/a>\u2069 covers our \u2066<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Liberty_Ctr?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@Liberty_Ctr<\/a>\u2069 legal claims on behalf of Jessica Konen, whose daughter was coached into breast-binding, using a unisex bathroom in the teachers\u2019 lounge, and changing her name by predatory conduct of the school teachers. <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/2yfMyzTFsb\">https:\/\/t.co\/2yfMyzTFsb<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Harmeet K. Dhillon (@pnjaban) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/pnjaban\/status\/1485854824230899712?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">January 25, 2022<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>As Breitbart News reported in December, Konen <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/education\/2021\/12\/17\/parents-outraged-claim-teacher-coached-daughter-into-identifying-as-trans-fluid\/\">claimed<\/a> two years ago that the two teachers indoctrinated her daughter into identifying as \u201ctrans fluid\u201d after encouraging her to join their lunchtime LGBTQ group they were calling the \u201cEquality Club\u201d:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>Konen&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.theepochtimes.com\/mkt_app\/parent-says-daughter-was-coached-on-lgbtq-identity-at-california-school_4156865.html\">told<\/a>&nbsp;the&nbsp;<em>Epoch Times<\/em>&nbsp;that&nbsp;toward the end of her sixth-grade year, her daughter informed her she might be bisexual, and later on, in December 2019, when her child was in seventh-grade, Konen said she was called to the school for a meeting with her daughter, a teacher, and the school principal.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>During that meeting, the teacher reportedly told Konen that her daughter was \u201ctrans fluid.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B3\" class=\"a8d adSo\"><\/figure>\n<p>Additionally, Konen said the teacher accused her of not being \u201cemotionally supportive\u201d of her daughter\u2019s new gender identity and criticized her for not using her daughter\u2019s new name and pronouns. The teacher reportedly stated Konen\u2019s daughter would now be using the unisex bathroom at school.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI felt she completely coached my child,\u201d Konen said at the time. \u201cIt made me feel very, very small as a parent. I was unaware of anything. Not one time had she mentioned to me, \u2018Oh, I think that I want to change my name,\u2019 or \u2018I\u2019m transgender or anything. Nothing. I only heard bisexual one time, and that was it.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure id=\"D-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">The school reportedly called the parents in for a meeting where they informed them that their daughter is trans. The teacher then proceeded to call CPS on them when they didn\u2019t use the \u201ccorrect\u201d name and pronouns. <\/p>\n<p>This is the dad\u2019s speech tonight: <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/17gl3QBRrQ\">pic.twitter.com\/17gl3QBRrQ<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Libs of Tik Tok (@libsoftiktok) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/libsoftiktok\/status\/1471359238811254796?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">December 16, 2021<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Konen reported that, within several days of that meeting, the King City Police Department visited her home to inform her a Child Protective Services (CPS) complaint had been filed against her.<\/p>\n<p>The <em>Epoch Times<\/em> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theepochtimes.com\/mkt_app\/parent-says-daughter-was-coached-on-lgbtq-identity-at-california-school_4156865.html\">noted <\/a>the police officers questioned both of Konen\u2019s children, asking if they wished to be removed from the home.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B4\" class=\"a8d adSo\"><\/figure>\n<p>Ultimately, Konen said CPS dropped the case. However, after additional meetings with teachers, the mother discovered that her daughter had also searched online for information regarding suicide, another surprising revelation she had heard nothing about from school personnel.<\/p>\n<p>Konen reported once schools closed in March 2020 due to the pandemic lockdowns, her daughter returned to identifying as a girl.<\/p>\n<p>Finally, Konen removed her daughter, now 14, from that school and enrolled her elsewhere. She reported to the <em>Epoch Times <\/em>that her daughter is now using her birth name and feminine pronouns.<\/p>\n<p>In November, author and journalist Abigail Shrier&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/education\/2021\/11\/19\/abigail-shrier-activist-teachers-recruit-middle-schoolers-lgbtq-clubs-mock-parents\/\">revealed&nbsp;<\/a>that leaked authenticated documents showed Caldeira and Baraki from the Buena Vista Middle School boasted a month earlier at a California Teachers Association (CTA) meeting about their \u201cbest practices for subverting parents, conservative communities and school principals on issues of gender identity and sexual orientation.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSpeakers went so far as to tout their surveillance of students\u2019 Google searches, internet activity, and hallway conversations in order to target sixth graders for personal invitations to LGBTQ clubs, while actively concealing these clubs\u2019 membership rolls from participants\u2019 parents,\u201d Shrier <a href=\"https:\/\/abigailshrier.substack.com\/p\/how-activist-teachers-recruit-kids\">noted<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Caldeira and Baraki asserted their alleged activity of \u201cstalking\u201d children online to search for those they perceived might be transgender were \u201conly made in jest,\u201d the DailyMail.com report said.<\/p>\n<p>According to Shrier, the two teachers led a workshop about how to run a Gay-Straight Alliance (GSA) club in conservative communities.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBecause we are not official \u2013 we have no club rosters, we keep no records,\u201d Caldeira reportedly said. \u201cIn fact, sometimes we don\u2019t really want to keep records because if parents get upset that their kids are coming? We\u2019re like, \u2018Yeah, I don\u2019t know. Maybe they came?\u2019 You know, we would never want a kid to get in trouble for attending if their parents are upset.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Baraki was reportedly heard describing how she has changed the name of her \u201cGSA\u201d to the \u201cEquity Club,\u201d and then later to \u201cYou Be You,\u201d or UBU, in order to keep parents deferential.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhen we were doing our virtual learning \u2013 we totally stalked what they were doing on Google when they weren\u2019t doing school work,\u201d Baraki reportedly said in the leaked recording. \u201cOne of them was googling \u2018Trans Day of Visibility.\u2019 And we\u2019re like, \u2018Check.\u2019 We\u2019re going to invite that kid when we get back on campus.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Caldeira, who had been awarded as a role model for inclusion, reportedly defended hers and Baraki\u2019s efforts, stating the teachers offered honest answers to students\u2019 questions, DailyMail.com reported.<\/p>\n<p>Following Shrier\u2019s report and other media coverage, SUSD officials responded by stating:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>Many of the comments and themes stated in the article are alarming, concerning, disappointing, and do not in any way reflect the District or Board of Education\u2019s policies and practices.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>\u201cRegarding the teachers involved, appropriate personnel steps are being taken to make sure such activities and comments will not be repeated,\u201d the district stated.<\/p>\n<p>In November, the teachers were reportedly placed on administrative leave, and their UBU club was suspended.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Young children in kindergarten are being taught transgender offered to \u201chelp educators understand the need to protect students from discrimination, including sexual orientation and gender identity or expression,\u201d according to DailyMail.com.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are concerned about a political climate right now in which outside political forces fuel chaos and misinformation and seek to divide parents, educators and school communities for their own political gain, which is evident in this complaint,\u201d CTA spokeswoman Lisa Gardiner reportedly said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Center for American Liberty is concerned with pushing its own political agenda through litigation and has filed multiple lawsuits against various school districts and communities,\u201d she added.<\/p>\n<p>Attorney Peter Renn of LGBTQ activist organization Lambda Legal also told DailyMail.com, \u201cOutside of school, these students may similarly face potential hostility at home because of who they are.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFor example, involuntarily outing a student as LGBTQ to their parents can very well lead to them getting kicked out of the home in some circumstances,\u201d he said, according to the
