So we didn\u2019t learn anything today we didn\u2019t already know, it\u2019s a matter of fact. I wonder why we sat through eight hours of videos that are under dispute,\u201d Bruce Castor told reporters as he walked to his car after the session ended.<\/p>\n<p>The representatives serving as impeachment managers <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theepochtimes.com\/impeachment-managers-present-no-new-evidence-of-incitement_3692792.html\">presented no new evidence<\/a> supporting the charge of inciting insurrection, though they did show video footage that had never been shown before to the public.<\/p>\n<p>Castor said Trump\u2019s team isn\u2019t making adjustments to its approach based on what was presented on Wednesday, adding, \u201cI don\u2019t know what the public has seen and I don\u2019t think the Democrats revealed anything the public hasn\u2019t seen from a different angle; I think it was all angles.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Castor also reaffirmed that Trump will not be appearing during the trial.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-large wp-image-3693307\" src=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/david-schoen-2-1200x887-1.jpg\" alt=\"Epoch Times Photo\" width=\"640\" height=\"473\" \/><\/p>\n<p>David Schoen, lawyer for former President Donald Trump, walks on Capitol Hill during a break in the second impeachment trial of Trump, at the Capitol in Washington on Feb. 10, 2021. (Joshua Roberts\/Pool via AP)<\/p>\n<p>Asked whether Trump\u2019s lawyers would be presenting videos suggesting Democrats themselves have incited riotous behavior,\u00a0David Schoen, another member of Trump\u2019s team, said, \u201cYou\u2019ll have to stand by and watch, but it\u2019s a pretty good bet.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI would say, though, that it\u2019s not only that they wanted plenty of video time today, it seems like they want a lot of screen time for themselves. They\u2019re clearly playing to the cameras, to the public, all of the time,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p>Schoen was speaking\u00a0during a virtual appearance on Fox News\u2019 \u201cThe Ingraham Angle.\u201d Host Laura Ingraham noted that some of the House impeachment managers objected to election results in 2017. So there\u2019s not an issue about that, they\u2019re just hoping to drum up emotion and get their last shots in at President Trump,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Impeachment managers had asserted Trump was to blame for the violence on Jan. 6 as they attempt to convince 67 senators to vote to convict him.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHow did we get to a point where rioters desecrated, defiled, and dishonored your senate chamber?\u201d Rep. Ted Lieu (D-Calif.) said. \u201cI will show you how we got here. President Donald J. Trump ran out of nonviolent options to maintain power.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Rep.
