Why rush it? And in terms of those Virginia parents, they send their unvaccinated kid to a school that\u2019s requiring vaccinations, they have to get ready for that child to be isolated in the auditorium, because that\u2019s the rule.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Rivera added that it was one thing for an individual to take on the risk, but the problem was that anyone could pass the virus to someone else who might be at greater risk.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou are making the choice not to be vaccinated, you give the disease to someone who has not made that choice, a kid under five years old,\u201d Rivera continued. \u201cI think that \u2014 just calm down, it\u2019s coming.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Pirro pivoted to the state of Virginia, where newly-elected Republican Governor Glenn Youngkin has removed mask mandates for students.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe governor says they don\u2019t have to wear a mask, the schools are now segregating the kids,\u201d she said, turning to <a href=\"https:\/\/dailywire.com\/news\/greg-gutfeld-on-the-squad-push-to-abolish-prisons-its-like-asking-for-more-wuhan-labs-after-a-covid-outbreak\/\">Gutfeld<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEffective risk management is not flippant. I don\u2019t see anything flippant about that. When the risk is minuscule, if you understand risk management, you become the adult in the room and you make the decision. It\u2019s the person \u2013\u201d Gutfeld began, but Rivera interrupted.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou can\u2019t make the decision for me,\u201d he objected.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYes, I can! I\u2019m not allowing you to tell me to wear a mask,\u201d Gutfeld shot back, at which point Rivera informed him he would not be able to come over.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m not coming over to your giant house?\u201d Gutfeld complained sarcastically.<\/p>\n<p>Rivera conceded that maybe there was one room where Gutfeld would be welcome, and Gutfeld shot back, \u201cYeah, the panic room?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPeople are okay with this creeping incrementalism, this authoritarianism. It does not land on your planet and a giant crate marked \u2018authoritarianism,&#8217;\u201d Gutfeld continued. \u201cIt\u2019s like the slow-boiling water that a frog is placed in and you don\u2019t know until entertainers and journalists and the radical we have known for years, Geraldo starts sounding like The Man, starts embracing the side of enforcement, starts saying like, \u2018We can\u2019t have any risk in our lives! It all has to be zero, or you\u2019re evil!\u2019 That\u2019s B.S., right?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnd right now, you have to beware of wars that don\u2019t have endings, we saw that with Afghanistan, we saw that with the drug war, if you don\u2019t want to war without an end, it\u2019s up to the sentiment of the population to declare the war over. That means you stop wearing your mask. If you go to stores, and you go to restaurants, or any establishment and they ask you to wear a mask, you say, \u2018You know what, I\u2019m following the science\u2019 and you leave,\u201d Gutfeld added. \u201cIt\u2019s time for everybody, I\u2019m not talking about me, I\u2019m not talking about Don Lemon, I\u2019m not talking about Whoopi, I\u2019m talking about the as Americans, the viewers, the general public, they have to civilly disobey an end this thing once and for all, because the problem is the government is lying to you. They act as if the risk of a 10-year-old is the same as an obese 65-year-old smoker, that\u2019s b.s., stop applying different risk to different people.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s also a question of manners, good manners,\u201d Rivera pushed back. \u201cIf you scare people by not wearing a mask, it\u2019s bad manners.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou called people flippant who have actively been thinking about this for two years, there is no flippancy in making a risk management decision,\u201d Gutfeld objected.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTake a deep breath, one more month, two more months,\u201d Rivera insisted.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019ve been saying this for years \u2026 Let\u2019s flatten Geraldo\u2019s&nbsp;curve,\u201d Gutfeld mocked.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf it wasn\u2019t for Omicron, we would\u2019ve been out of this,\u201d Rivera added.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOmicron is highly contagious and mild.
