His video falsely claimed \u201cat least seven people lost their lives.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In reality, four people died during the clashes, according to the D.C. Police. Additionally, Officer Brian Sicknick died afterwards, which brought the total death toll to five.<\/p>\n<p>Raskin\u2019s video also omitted President Trump\u2019s call for peace in which he made before the U.S. Capitol takeover.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI know that everyone here will soon be marching over to the Capitol Building to peacefully and patriotically make your voices heard,\u201d stated the 45th President.<\/p>\n<p>Republican members of Congress said this statement acquits him of all impeachment charges because he explicitly said any action by protesters must be peaceful.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">We just wrapped day 1 of President Trump\u2019s Impeachment trial.
