He marched right over to the White House and began tearing the country apart\u2013 tearing apart everything that President Trump did that was good,\u201d he said. \u201cAs he moved forward, he became anything but the unity president.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<p>Inflation, Murphy said, set the tone of the year, but Biden\u2019s failures became extremely evident with the botched withdrawal in Afghanistan in his attempt to score a \u201cpolitical victory.\u201d Biden said he would not leave Americans behind, but some are still there \u201cto this day,\u201d Murphy noted.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>LISTEN:<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>Biden also \u201cliterally from the first day opened our southern border,\u201d he said, explaining that it led to other crises, including burdens on hospitals, human trafficking, and the flood of illicit drugs. Biden effectively gave the southern border to the drug cartels, he added, noting the number of people who have died from drug overdoses.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMore individuals have died from COVID in his tenure than the year prior during President Trump\u2019s tenure,\u201d he continued.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B3\" class=\"a8d adSo\"><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s just been one self-inflicted disaster after another,\u201d he said, pointing to the supply chain crisis and Biden\u2019s desire to throw&nbsp;money at an economy that is now severely inflationary.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis has been a year in disaster\u201d and one of \u201cutter incompetence,\u201d he said. \u201cThis isn\u2019t leadership. (Photo by John Moore\/Getty Images)\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-caption-text\">Harper Shea (5) lays her head down on her desk near the end of her first day of kindergarten on September 9, 2020, in Stamford, Connecticut (John Moore\/Getty Images).<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>While he said he is pro-vaccine, Murphy said the \u201cultimate purpose\u201d is not to&nbsp;prevent the virus completely, forcing it to \u201cbounce off your skin.\u201d Rather, it makes the severity less, he said, but public health officials, he noted, were not forthright about that and began instituting mandates, \u201csegregating society, shaming people, bullying people into you\u2019re vaccinated or not vaccinated.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He used Japan as an example, which did not mandate vaccines. He also said a \u201cgreat number\u201d of those in the ICU for the virus are on government assistance and asked why the government has not mandated them to get the vaccine, given their attempts to force vaccines on private employers, federal workers, and healthcare workers.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhy have we then not mandated people who are on Medicaid to get vaccines?\u201d he asked, pointing to the hypocrisy of the Biden administration.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThat\u2019s very, very hypocritical that the Biden administration, in all its mandate fury, never did that,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Rep.
